PNG! -
For that 2 year stint the LTown fans were the most obnoxious fans. They demanded respect and most of us said roll out more than one or two winning seasons and youll earn it. Well low-n-behold, there all gone now! Raidergirl keep up the good fight. Love the support you show for your hometown. Your a welcome NDN fan anytime! Hopefully for your sake the Baby Blue and Red will ride high again someday soon, of then the looney raider fans will be back in full force. :)

PNG continues to make mistakes killing themselves. Snap over QB head killing a drive. Get a 3rd and long and hit QB outta bounds bringing a dog drive back to life. Get a 3rd and 1 and jump! To me that's the biggest difference in the game. Nederland hasn't shot themselves much. Good teams tend to make few mistakes.
JV PNG 6 JV Nederland 22 Nice game by Dogs. Watched freshman "A" game...impressed with PNG 9th grade QB....nice athlete. I'd put him on Varsity as lean as PNG is.
Also impressive is that as Freshman his wideouts rarely drop a pass and can run. Kid is already bigger than most HS QBs and has a legit arm and understanding of the game (6 total TD's last night). And many of the bulldog fans have been asking where the talent is that we NDN fans have been posting about. Here you go. Another reason BF goes nowhere for a few years. Good Soph and 8th grade groups combined with this Freshman class is going to be fun to watch as a HS FB fan. JV game was a defensive battle through the first 3 quarters. #25 Sparks and #27 Halfin went out and we couldn't run the ball as well. Those are our main two threats on offense. Sparks did hobble in and run in the TD, but he went right back out. Nederlands back #4 was shifty and QB made some good throws. Good football at the pound last night. And no major injuries.

So #46 from last week was Mayfield and he is a Soph? If so then we've had 4 Sophs in the starting lineup that I have counted. (Walker-QB, Mayfield-Hback, Murdock-WR and Peveto-Safety). Could be more? A couple others that I think could contribute now on Varsity are Smith-OL, Halfin-RB, Hughes-WR/DB and Sparks-WR/DB

"Please tell me that you all don't practice cannibalism like the Attakapa did???" No...But we have been known to eat Bulldog with a bottle of Chianti and some Fava Beans!

Indians win big, big, big Friday Night...Coushatta Indians in Kinder that is! They rake it in on Friday Nights. Just my prediction. -
D-O-G-G-I-E-S come on doggies do your best! Wow if that doesn't fire you up????

Yes I do believe last year both freshman were undefeated when they played and Nederland won, but that was expected. Nederelands Soph class is stacked much like PNGs Fresh class this year.
-
For those puppy fans predicting a shutout, since Faircloth arrived PNG has not been shutout.
-
Agreed Jake. A hurried AJ is not good for the NDNs. That and some semblance of a defense! I will say if PNG somehow pulls this out, many of you Big Ned fans are going to look like chumps!
-
I don't think you'll find many PNG fans that expect anything more than a hard fought game from our NDNs Friday night. That's about it! If they come out on top we will all be surprised.

Funny yall having this discussion. I'm at the Omni hotel in Corpus and the girl behind the bar is from...PNG.

I know PNG is a 4A school, but if you go look we typically have more kids in the football program than PAM and WB or most smaller 5A programs. So most seasons the only playing one way is good at PNG because even the Talented kids that quit at most schools stay in the program. This year looks to be the exception, but he has played #2 Clark on offense some as well as Coy. Just so happens that last week Clark was wearing a boot on his leg so I am sure BF didn't want to risk him against Central. As someone else said he has had success to this point so I trust him and I have seen that there is some good athletes coming in may areas of the game. Just need to tweek the defensive philosophy.

That's funny football04, you ever been to Faircloths last stop before PNG? That Odessa fresh air is spectacular (tongue-n-cheek).

FWKid what does your glory days with the Blue and Gray of SFA have to do with the fact that there is irony in someone from PA calling themselves FriendswoodKid (showing no love for PA) and complaining about the PA News showing no love to PAM? Do you get the PA news delivered in FWood? If not then I don't think you have much room to complain. Reading the FREE online version you won't get every story...because it's FREE. Oh and for the record I went to SFA also!

Ironic coming from someone who calls themselves Friendswoodkid!

1st of all Kenny Ford did not run the option and yes he did throw the ball and quite well I might add. The kid that threw to Malveaux had a last name like Loicano? Good QB. He also had Spencer George in the backfield which helps take the pressure off a QB.
