They are not playing in Cowboys...some folks jumped the gun...hearing the game will either be at Kincade Stadium or DeSoto

Indeed rare, but I think with the change in philosophy there this year appearances could be more frequent

7pm is better for media, but for kids and fans 7:30 is better...I actually think Sept. games should start at 8pm to try and beat the heat...

Here's a look at how bad Sam Houston was last year. Houston Furr last year beat Sam Houston 52-0. Houston Sterling beat Houston Furr 18-6

Jones did a good job at Post, they went 3-7 this year playing pretty much all sophomores...they had a total of 4 seniors on the team...the numbers are way up in the junior high program and he left that program in very good shape.  Jones has a very good track record including his time as an OC at Sinton where he helped get them to the state championship game in 2001...he did a good job at Refugio as well...Jones is a very good hire for Giddings..the issue in Giddings will be talent..they simply dont have as much of it as they did a few years back.

Ennis is one of the highest paying jobs in DFW. Good facilities, but talent is not there for the next couple of years. They were 2-8 last year and I expect similar results this year.  They are 2 years away from being a playoff team IMO
