Teams can certianly take a second bye week if they choose...Duncanville has done it last 3 years and Stephenville has done it in the past as well..I cant see them adding a week because you'd either have to start a week earlier which pushes practice into July or push the season past Christmas which the UIL has no appetite for

So let's say form holds and Nederland & PNG win out, we get a 3 way tie between Huntsville, Montgomery and Lake Creek... Montgomery would be 3rd due to +18 Revert back H2H for Huntsville Lake Creek and Lake Creek gets 4th Huntsville has to beat Nederland to get in at this point...they really can't get in with 3 losses unless Lake Creek loses one they aren't supposed to

End of 1st half was Huntsville taking a pistol...aiming it at their big toe and firing....those types of things in the margins are the difference in close games...and the difference between good and great teams

I came away with a different take on this game...I thought Huntsville was right there with PNG and could have easily won and I didnt get a vibe one team was clearly better...difference IMO was PNG tends to find ways to win these games and Huntsville when they are good finds ways to lose them.....I think thats a credit to PNG's culture, coaches and kids...the track in record in close games says a ton about them...

I am hopeful Willis is addressing it, obviously we won't know if they do...but I hope that the players involved are given appropriate punishments and the coaches are educated on the trend and the lack of monitoring the handshake line is addressed
