1.
Just my opinion based on watching Ozen girls volleyball, basketball, and track.  You just don't know what these young ladies go through away and at home and still have the heart to prevail and succeed!!!
They have one of the best basketball and track programs in the state. I think your opinion may be a little biased itself, but that's just my opinion...lol. What officials do you have to overcome in track?
 2. "The refs seem to always be  biased against Ozen" Are you kidding me?
 3.
Maybe Bridge Sity?
Haha that's funny. The only one I can think of is Baytown Sterling but I thought Catman refered to BS being cats and Rangers are far from cats.
 4.
just curious..how many of you  actually went to the game? or did you stay home and support your Aggies?
Didn't Lamar play on Saturday and A&M play on Sunday? I didn't make the Lamar game nor did I watch the A&M game.
 5. We don't see everything that the coaches see. I don't think politics have anything to do with it, they are going to start who they believe needs to start. I personally wouldn't start Bevil, but I'm not the expert and I doubt anyone else on here has been a College Football head coach. So Woodard is classless b/c Prewitt only threw the ball 2 times when Lamar was up by 40+ points (I have no idea what the score was when he went in but it's my understanding that he went in 3rd so I figured it was late 3rd or 4th). I would say Woodard showed some class by running the ball and keeping the clock running and not throwing the ball.
 6. Have you seen the brackets this year? I figured with all the budget cuts that it might look better.
 7. As I have stated before, there are 3 3A schools closer to the 2A cutoff than Ozen is to the 3A cutoff (at the last report). Unless something has drastically changed (and it could have), they aren't moving. If they do drop, perhaps Beaumont shouldn't have 3 high schools.
 8. Fair enough...why didn't you post a thread about it before he did then? I'm just wondering why you chose not to. I believe probably because there is really no reason for the communities to know this if UIL lets it go. If UIL steps in, then report that. However, I'm no media man, it's just my opinion.
 9.
I am a parent with concern with these boys having to practice when it is so HOT!!!! I think that they shouldn't practice until about 6:30 til 8:30 if they are going to practice in the evening time. They practice in the mornings already.... We are under a sever heat advisory now and they are going out there to practice..... Come On..  ???
Give me a break...Hill guy is right here. Stay hydrated...they will be fine.
 10.

Even if they did, it is pretty obvious that it was a mistake made by a young head coach in his first year of head coaching.   What I find repulsive is you posting this and raising the question.  If you truly had the best interests of all setx football players in mind, you wouldn't have posted this in such as way as to draw attention to this very minor infraction.  As I suspected, you are one who enjoys stirring the pot and seeing what kind of trouble you can start.  Hence why you are always talking about "things you hear" but never divulging any information.  I just lost a lot of respect for you Mike.   Posts are removed regularly from this board for bashing players.  People are banned for bashing players.  By doing this, you could cost players their season.  Satisfied?
Actually, it is not AAW that brought this to everyone's attention.  This transgression, if it is viewed by the UIL to be one, was apparently reported earlier today.  This was shown on the most watched television station in the area last night, so it is not like he is showing something that was not already seen by the viewing public.
Did KFDM actually point this out or just air what they shot? I would say 99% of people probably have no idea that they can't use pads until it was mentioned on here. Either way, no reason to start a post on here for something minor. Incognito, I'm with you. I have seen this man verbally attack people on here and try to stir the pot. I've reported the comments and nothing was done. I watched someone get banned for a week for responding to his post (the one banned deserved to be). This is a good site but some of the admins and moderators need abide by the rules as well. The deal for me is this, if they did break UIL rules report it when they have any kind of sanction from the UIL...don't post to stir and get something started.
 11.
Because they suck and by the time the organization is good again, the so called good players would either be gone or past their prime.  They have to trade anyone they can to build the farm system.  Then they have to get lucky and make a splash with some of the draft picks.  If they continue to follow this plan, astros fans will be happy again around 2017-2020.  If they don't follow this plan astros fans will only be happy when the team is sold and moved out of houston.
I agree with them trading the guys away.
 12. Buster Olney said at the beginning of last season that the Astros farm system was a train wreck. That's never good...and they weren't too good. So why are they trading their good players the past two seasons...build the farm system like it was in the 90's.
 13.

AGGIES R WE DONT MAKE ME DRIVE TO SILSBEE AND KICK YOUR butt
I was hoping this was a joke, but it looks like it may not be.  In that case the following rules were violated with this post: "4) Keep it civil! You can make your point much more attractive to others by remaining calm and intelligent. You will be banned for flaming or attacking another member!! We will not tolerate abuse upon another member." "8 ) Do not make racial or abusive comments" "17) The admins and moderators here are volunteers. They dedicate a portion of their time to helping us with the forums. No abuse or disrespect of any of the admins or moderators will be tolerated" Also, given that a threat of violence was made.  This can not be tolerated.  You get a week off this time...next time you do it...it is permanent!
So did AAW not break rule #4 with his comment that provoked the other persons comments? I have tried asking this question through pm's but I'm not getting an answer.
 14.
Ill remove Anahauc from my list, seems to me that schools are leaning for more youthful coaches and teachers than the older more experienced ones.
Who did Anahuac hire?
 15.

I believe he is poking at AAW.
Then why doesn't speveto just support his Mustangs and save his sarcasm for a site that might appreciate it.?
Seriously...have you ever read AAW's comments? He makes comments like that all the time...so with him being a moderator of this site then this site must appreciate it. I'm not saying I agree with the comments, I'm just saying what I see.
 16.
Its not about records, wins ,losses and rankings, its about what the coaches do for the students.Anahauc may get a person that the kids can trust.  With that trust, a coach that knows how to develope them into players  will produce wins. Its still not known if Anahuac will hire Coach Hess.  As far as CE King's coach, last year was her first year at King. She made alot of progress with those girls by gaining they're trust.Yes that is a tuff district in volleyball but I believe she can turn that program around. Maybe the topic needs to be "What coaches have more talent and wins than the rest?"
I agree that these things are make a great coaching staff. However, let's give the CE King coach a little more time to see the impact she has and I don't believe you can put Anahuac there if you are saying they are only there if they get that coach. Let them get the coach and see what happens from there. This is just my opinion...thanks for your list.
 17.
All Sports 1. The Woodlands 2. Katy 3. Brenham 4. Friendswood 5. Pearland
Great list
 18.

1) Barbers Hill 2) Bridge City 3) Anahuac (If they get HCA's former head coach Karry Hess) 4) C E King 5) PNG
How can Ce King make this list when they finished next to last in their district last year?
That whole list is not very valid after BH. I can see putting BC and PNG in there but not where they are ranked...not a very accurate list imo.
 19. 1) Barbers Hill (currently the best team around year after year) 2) PNG 3) Tarkington 4) LCM 5) Nederland
 20. Sounds like I might need to start watching again...lol. Is HHH done wrestling?
 21. What happened to the title? I thought Cena was champion but the website doesn't show anyone...what did I miss?
 22.

He is a move in from a different state, and is moving into Nederland, so he will be able to play rt away.
Not so. Silsbee had a move-in from Louisiana three years ago (Kendrick Jones) and he had to sit out a period of time before he could play varsity. He was not able to join the varsity until halfway thru district play in 2009, had to play JV until then.
Did he move in before the school year started?
 23.
Played very well in Houston tournament. 6'4 or 6'5 and can shoot the 3 pretty well. Plays good team defense. Should be a solid player next to sophemore post on varsity
Isn't this post a move in as well?
