1. Outside of KVille and Dayton (who I guess isn't SETX) what has anyone done since PNG in 1999 and WOS in 2000. Has anyone even made it to the semi's? I think we have some really good football around here...just nothing seems to do really good in the playoffs. So...someone make it happen this year.
 2.
WOS 5-0 (As usual they have an abundance of speed) Silsbee 4-1 (More athletes to choose from than the rest of 21-3A below) BC 3-2 (I just don't see the rest of the district as being very good!) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OF 2-3 (The offense is tricky, they could beat one of the above, but they could also lose to one of the below!) HF 1-4 (Getting better year 2 Price) HJ 0-5 (When does BB season start?)
I agree completely except I believe BC will beat Silsbee. They have a lot of kids returning. Silsbee might as well, I just don't know much about that team. I could see that game going either way. Any of the bottom three teams could beat one another.
 3. I wasn't complaining. I don't believe it's the fault of the website...I just can't believe people are spamming here.
 4. The boy is fast, but he's not one of the top 3 Americans. Tyson Gay wasn't running and that gave him a chance.
 5.
Pelini NEVER, I repeat NEVER, had any faith in Green.  IMO if your HC doesn't have any faith in the QB he is definetely not going to go out of his way for him.  Yes, Green had his shot but there were times I wondered what the heck Pelini was thinking as far as play calling.  The play calling alone showed he didn't want Green involved to much in the offense but thats the vicious college QB cycle.  Welcome to the real world.  He'll be alright as long as he get's that college education.
Right on. Dustin Long set a Big 12 record for td's in a game (later broken by TT qb) and he finds himself on the bench not much later. Who knows what he could have done if he wouldn't have gotten screwed.
 6.

Not even close. MJ without a doubt. Lebron doesn't want it bad enough.
amen Jordan elevated himself and his teammates. Lebron joined another superstar in Wade and can't even elevate himself down the stretch!
Jordan had a Superstar teammate as well. Robert Horry is one of the best roll players to ever play.
 7. Great series by the Mavs. I don't usually say anything about coaching, but Carlisle coached circles around Spolstra. During the 2nd period when LeBron was on the bench and the Heat went on a 14-0 run they were hustling their butts off. LeBron comes in and the hustle changed. It seemed to me everything Carlisle did all series worked and very little that Spolstra did worked. JMO. I know this might not be popular but I hear a lot of people say the Heat need a "true" point. I disagree. They need a big body down low. I rebounder and shot blocker. Not necessarily a scorer. I don't know when Oden's contract is up in Portland, but he might be worth the risk. I know he can never stay healthy but I just think they need someone like that. Maybe they can trade Bosh and about 15 other guys to get Howard...lol. The Mavs showed what a TEAM looks like during these playoffs.
 8. I have seen his name on here many times about putting in for other positions...maybe he got one?
 9.
7'4 and shoting fade aways. What a packer. The Mavs will soon fade away also.
If you were watching no way he was getting to the rim. He is also virtually unblockable when he fades away. He is the best fade away shooter in the game today and possibly top 3 in history. When he fades away and has a great look like he had, it's just a matter or not if he happens to make that shot. You just hold your breath as a defense. Good win by the heat.
 10. So what happens if Cody and Johnson both end up at Lamar? Will Johnson stay if Cody beats him out or will he change positions? Or if Johnson were to beat Cody out, what would happen?
 11. If they ever do drop to 3A, it won't be any time soon and many schools will be dropping with them and many of the local 3A schools would be down to 2A if the cutoff numbers in each classification continue to rise. OF, HJ, and HF are all pretty low 500's I believe and I think the cutoff is high 400 for 2A. They are all closer to 2A than Ozen is to 3A.
 12. Big collapse by the heat. They became way too laxed. With that being said...what and the world was Spolstra doing with his line-up when Dallas started taking care of the ball and making their run. Here was their line-up during the 17-2 run. Chalmers Wade James Haslem Bosh Who's going to score if it's not Wade and James (and they started running everything through James when Wade was just unstoppable tonight)? Bosh can't hardly do anything against Dallas. Why is Bibby on the bench? 14 pts. in 21 min. 4/7 from the three and 5/8. He hit his last 3 or 4 shots and never goes back in. Granted Chalmers hit the game tying shot (0-5 from 3 before then). Perhaps with Bibby they aren't in that situation. I just don't get it. Great job by Dallas to keep playing.
 13.

4th round 3 years in a row, that's gotta be tough.
Which is the sign of a very successful program.
Weren't they going at least that far the last 3-5 years with the old coach? Seems like they've had a very successful program for a while.
 14. Interesting when people are called out and avoid the comment. Doesn't help the suspicion...lol
 15. Heat in 6. I think this will be a great series. I believe the Heat have two people who can guard Dirk. I'm not saying it will slow him down, but they can guard him one on one with more success than the Thunder alowing them not to get killed by the 3's like the Lakers. JMO
 16.
Miami is not who Dallas will be facing.
Missed that one...lol.
 17. Big statement about Ancelot. I've never heard anyone say that. Anyways, I don't believe DoveHunter is from OF. Seems to be the old coach at HF or a friend of the old coach.
 18.

And its not all the blame on the new head coach at HF. He's working with what he's got to work with at HF. GIVE him a chance and time to see what he can do.
Well from past indications Price should have this year and maybe next year only to prove something or he will be forced to "retire" again by powers to be, and HF will start all over again, either way HF will have another AD/FB coach in a year or 2 because thats is what they do and will do till they realize there coaching cannot make up for unequal talent and nonaccountability of the kids and parents in the community. They should have known  when they hired Price out of "retirement" he wasn't going to be around very long.
Not exactly sure who you are, but I thought I recognized your name. I did a little checking and I saw a lot of posting you did when HF was hiring a new AD.  Then when someone said you were Mangan there was suddenly someone with the name of kingfisher taking your back. Seems a little fishy...haha..to me. Wha'ts your beef? You an old AD or coach there?
 19. Seems to me he is a good friend of the old coach...or is the old coach. Give every person a chance.
 20. 2006 all over again? Miami has too good of a defense to get waxed by anyone in a series. I don't care who the "head coach" is, I think Pat Riley has a lot to say about the adjustments made between the games. Looks like Miami very well might be who Dallas is facing...assuming Dallas takes care of business.
