1. I don't think I'd stay "inside" unless we had achieved a certain level of success... I was high on the Jacks last year, but they let me down... I think that Diboll needs an overhaul...
2. What I don't understand is, where was the guy who is responsible for hitting the mute butou imton?  Every national broadcast has a guy responsible for doing that... The race on "live" TV is still on a delay of about 10 seconds.... Someone should get fired over that deal.... What I don't understand is the people calling in to NASCAR radio talking about how Knaus should be fined.... It was on a private radio channel that FOX was listening in on.... Could you imagine if we listened in on coaches headsets during Friday night games?  YIKES!!!!
3. Heck of an athlete, enjoyed watching him play.... Good luck to him wherever he decides to go.... Anytime you have a chance to get a free education and play football, it's a win-win no matter where he ends up...
4. Congrats to Kael.... Really one of the most underrated QB's in SETX last year IMO...
5. He has Dale, Jr. to thank though.... No one who watches NASCAR will remember what happened to that kid!!!
6. I had already forgotten his name until it was brought back up again....
7. The old saying goes "if you have two quarterbacks, you have NONE!"
8. I'm not sure that you can discount how good OKC is based on the way they have played in this series... OKC is young and will be back in the Conference Finals many times if they keep building around the talented trio of Durant/Westbrook/Harden.... Dallas realizes this may be their last chance... I look at this Mavs team and I see veterans like Dirk, Kidd, Marion, Terry and Chandler who are playing as hard as they can, and in the NBA we all know that doesn't happen every night... Van Gundy said it best during the telecast last night, the Mavs could have phoned it in down by 15 and said, alright, we are tied at 2, let's go home and get Game 5... Instead, Dirk took over on offense and Marion stood up on defense and they found a way to win... Dallas is not as flashy as the other three teams left, but if I had to pick a champion today, give me the Mavs....
9. Anyone else disappointed in the All-Star Race last Saturday night?  No real drama between drivers like I expected (and how NASCAR had marketed the thing) and Carl Edwards was so much faster than the rest of the field it wasn't even fun to watch. Kudos to Carl on almost rolling his car during the celebration though!
10. I'll try and do this for every PPV that WWE has, I order each of them.... Every once in a while if I feel like slumming I'll purchase the IMPACT Wrestling PPV's, but very rarely.... Let's get this started..... Match #1 - R-Truth def. Rey Mysterio, Jr. I honestly thought that even though the match itself was forgettable, they did a wonderful job of advancing the heel turn of R-Truth.  The "new" R-Truth at first seemed a little risky, considering how many fans loved him before he went crazy on John Morrison.  This rivalry was really pushed into the PPV with little build up, and I'm interested to see if and how it continues.  This review is being written on a Tuesday, so RAW was last night and by putting the pair back in the ring together, we could get a lengthy feud.  I personally feel that R-Truth is not ready to be a main-event caliber star, but WWE seems to be interested in pushing him to the forefront. Match #2 - Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett def. Ezekiel Jackson When the Nexus originally entered WWE by destroying Cena and CM Punk on RAW, they were built up as a force that could not be stopped.  It grew old quickly in my eyes because it was the same old song every week.  Main event would come, and halfway through, out comes Nexus to bust it up.  At some point these guys have to finish a match clean, right?  Now you have Slater and Gabriel back with Barrett in The Corre, and it's the same thing.  Ezekiel Jackson might just be the most under-utilized guy on the WWE roster, and once again you have him squashed on a PPV by the entire group.  I personally am tired of watching this type of match every time Barrett is involved.  Barrett could be a great asset, don't make him a joke by having him retain the Intercontinental Championship based on a DQ.  This feud is far from over, I assume it will conclude with a No DQ match at perhaps Summerslam.  Jackson will eventually take the belt off of Barrett, but we'll have to sit through two or three more interference filled matches. Match #3 - Sin Cara def. Chavo Guerrero This was the first of a few matches I could have gone without on the card.  I can't even take Sin Cara serious because of this whole gimmick.  The costume, the trampoline entrance and most importantly the stupid mood lighting during the match.  When will the NOT use the lighting? When he is the underdog? Do they expect us to take it seriously if he challenges let's say Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship, and they use that? What a joke.  And why is Chavo on the card? Did WWE really need to rush some scrub on the card when they could have built up a feud between Sin Cara and maybe Daniel Bryan?  Sin Cara/Bryan would at least be a display of technical wrestling that most of us would enjoy watching.  If I never see Chavo on TV again it would be too soon. Match #4 - Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show and Kane def. Nexus (CM Punk and Mason Ryan) Considering that CM Punk may not be a part of the WWE in a few months, I'm not surprised that the champions retained.  However, WWE has a golden opportunity to build up Mason Ryan.  This guy has the look of a big time player in the WWE, although his skill set needs improving.  I'm even more curious as to what will happen next within Nexus considering Punk and Ryan could not win the belts from the champions, but McGillicutty and Otunga were able to on RAW.  The match at Over The Limit was a solid one considering you had three big guys and Punk, who is a great wrestler and perhaps one of the best heels of our era.  Punk is personally my favorite heel and I hope that he and Vince can work out a deal to keep him in the WWE. Match #5 - Divas Champion Brie Bella def. Kelly Kelly I, like so many others, were waiting throughout the entire match for Kharma to interfere.  Because she didn't, no one really can tell you anything about this match other than the Bellas pulled off Twin Magic and Nikki Bella ended up getting the pin on Kelly Kelly.  In a somewhat related note, is there anyone hotter than Kelly Kelly? Match #6 - World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton def. Christian Although as a whole I do not enjoy Smackdown more than RAW, this feud is my favorite currently.  Orton and Christian are both very interesting characters who can tell a story in the ring.  Both are guys who you feel like you can relate to and connect with on a personal level as a fan.  You have Christian who spent his whole career busting his tail to win a title in the WWE only to have it taken away less than a week later.  Then you have Orton, who seemed to be dubbed as the Golden Child upon entering the WWE.  Vince McMahon was wrong all of those years saying Christian wasn't ready for the main event scene.  I can't imagine Christian not being in the title picture.  This match was the best of the night.  Everyone was expecting a heel turn from Christian if he lost, and it was teased when he shoved Orton after the match.  What happens next? We'll find out Friday.  I hope we see a third match between the two at Capitol Punishment. Match #7 - Jerry Lawler def. Michael Cole I mentioned that I never wanted to see Chavo Guerrero in the ring again, and although I love Cole/Lawler on commentary, PLEASE keep them out of the ring with each other!  It's not even believable that a guy like Cole could step in the ring against Lawler (at any age) and compete with him.  This whole rivalry has lasted way too long.  This should have been over with after Wrestlemania.  Cole apologized on RAW and asked if Lawler would move past it.  Lawler agreed, and it seemed like they were just trying to brush it all under the rug and force us to forget the last two matches they had on PPV as if they never happened.  Match #8 - WWE Champion John Cena def. The Miz w/Alex Riley Typical John Cena "I Quit" match.  I knew going in that Miz and Riley would team up against Cena, beat the living crap out of him for 15 minutes and then have Cena come back miraculously and win the match.  I don't even know where to begin.  I'll just say that we all knew Cena would win.  We all knew that The Miz would tap out and quit.  We can now look forward to the next opponent to face Cena, who will beat on him for an entire month, only to have Cena beat him at the PPV.  It's kind of like the directions on a shampoo bottle.  Lather, Rinse, Repeat.  Lather, Rinse, Repeat.  I like Cena, but i definitely understand where all the Cena hatred comes from. Overall, Over The Limit was a decent PPV with a couple of interesting matches and one GREAT match between Orton and Christian.  I hope that continues, otherwise WWE has a lot to do before they put on Capitol Punishment in June.  Hope you enjoyed the review, let me know your thoughts!
11. I only saw WB one time last year, in their loss to Pearland in the playoffs.... I thought that even though they had Reyes back there to spread it around that they did abandon the run.... Early in that game if you remember, the second string back had a lot of success.... He fumbled on that first drive they put together and I think that it may have scared them away from it, but I thought they had a great plan of attack running.... I say all of that to say this... If they transition to a ground attack type team, I think they will have plenty of success... You can take an average QB and make him look good by running, running, running and then surprising the defense with a pass... I think WB will be just fine, but that is definitely not to say they won't miss Reyes, because he is/was a special player...
12. I guess if they are on board then we just need to work out two details: #1- Sponsorship #2- The Schedule.... Do we do all West Brook? Do we do all West Brook and sprinkle in the other schools when WB plays on Saturday?  I'm all for whatever, I just want to make sure we handle it the right way and set ourselves up to have this deal for a long time if we want it...
13. In sitting around thinking today, I was thinking ahead to football season and what our broadcast schedule might look like... We had talked last year about trying and landing BISD, but I really haven't heard much else about it... Mike, you have a connection with the AD on some level don't you? Maybe we need to call and see what needs to happen? I'd like to get it nailed down if that is our plan, and if not, what is our plan? I'd like to know what I personally will be doing pretty soon so I can get with Adam and make sure he is on board for it....
14. You can't trust him... Todd, if you'll let me know what Kerry contributed that I can help out with on a news related front, I'll do everything I can... I don't know if he did specific sections or what.... I think this thing should definitely keep him from ever being on the staff again...
15. Big mistake... I'm not sure who they could get that is more qualified... Do they possibly go after Allen Wilson? He retired from coaching...
16. I agree with the previous poster that if Neece is asking him to stay, he must be a good one... I expect this defense to continue to be one of the best around...
17. Well, everything I've ever thought about this individual is being proven true.... Get rid of him if we have the proof... He better have some dang good evidence it's not him... This site will be fine without people like this individual...
18. For obvious reasons I am excited about this hire... Proud to see my uncle return to East Texas as a head coach and looking forward to what he will be able to accomplish with this group of kids... He is excited about the prospects he sees there, and San Augustine usually has quality athletes, just other things that get in the way... Great things will happen in San Augustine over the next few years, and I can assure any parent of an athlete there that not only will your child grow as an athlete, they will grow into an adult you will be proud of.... Go Wolves!
19. We play in East Texas and have seen the Bats twice in the last few months, and if any of the teams are better than them, I don't want to play them...
20. I'd have to say that to only have Ford on the first two teams from Kirbyville is a joke....
21. Crap, now I gotta have an excuse to drive to Dallas Friday!!!!
22. Katy vs Pearland (PEARLAND) Cy Woods vs Houston Memorial (CY WOODS) Longview vs Mesquite Horn (LONGVIEW) Montgomery vs Friendswood (FRIENDSWOOD) Cedar Park vs Lake Travis (LAKE TRAVIS) Tyler John Tyler vs Wylie (JOHN TYLER) LaMarque vs Manvel (MANVEL) Aledo vs Stephenville (ALEDO) Chapel Hill vs Columbia (CHAPEL HILL) Athens vs Coldspring (COLDSPRING) Carthage vs Argyle (CARTHAGE) Navarro vs Wimberley (WIMBERLEY) Tatum vs Cameron Yoe (TATUM) West Rusk vs Lexington (WEST RUSK) Big Sandy vs Garrison (GARRISON)
23. I predict a Carthage/Coldspring final in Cowboys Stadium....
24. Coldspring will win and they should wind up in Cowboys Stadium on the 17th.... Don't think for a second that ANY team will have an easy time slowing down Scott/Gilbert/Cummings....
