I've been to many games at the stadium.... Numerous times I've seen the band bring folding chairs to sit in and fans lined up down both sides of the fence.... I'm just hoping we don't have to do the game from the stands!!! Kirbyville 72, Huntington 0

Week to week on the broadcast you will Adam and I talking about the improvements he has made in the passing game... Jones may not put up huge numbers on a consistent basis, but if he has to make a play, we have full faith that he can get it done... Credit the success of the Wildcats running attack in 2010 to the credibility the passing game has established... True, Ford frees up the receivers in the secondary, but if Jones didn't make plays, teams would crowd the box even more...

Huntington will not score unless the Wildcats let them.... Kirbyville will score as many as they want.... This one will be over as soon as Alvarez lets them off the bus...

As I read through everyone's thoughts about this game, I keep thinking to myself that both teams will be going all out... And I understand he theory behind "I don't know who to pull for", but the spirit of Reggie strikes me as being more competitive than that... I am looking forward to that Saturday night because I know that we will see two teams fighting for a victory more so than you may see all season long... I am glad that this game is on a Saturday night... I have never been to WO-S... I hope my first trip is one that sees that place packed beyond recognition... The Mustang family needs the place filled... Wherever it is you may live, make the trip down and honor the memory of a great young man and applaud the efforts of the Mustang family for getting back on the field...

I will politely laugh in the face of the next person who says that ANYONE runs harder than Ford... You obviously have not seen him play if you think that...

In regards to running up the score, there is a difference in running up the score and staying on the gas pedal... I would never want my team to try to slow down... Balls to the wall all night long...

I'm not even sure that Newton fans should be THAT down on their team... They were playing their first game of the season with a new quarterback against a very good football team... By Week 10, Newton will be just fine.... I was very impressed with a couple of players from Newton, including Jackson and Shorter to go along with Bennett...  When Holmes settles into the offense, the Eagles will be tough to stop...

Boy, do I wish I was going to be there tonight... Randall and Adam are going to do great... Next week look out, the Dynamic Duo will be back!!!

We were down there playing at Ford Park this past weekend and I got to see this place... It will be super nice... Very well done BISD!

The more I think about this district the more intrigued I am... I would not be surprised if Diboll joins in on the postseason party, and Center, although usually overrated, does have a strong defense and lots of speed... I think Kirbyville takes the top spot, followed by Center, with Jasper and Diboll battling for the last spot... Huntington it appears is on the way to their 30th straight season with no playoff appearances...

In a blog on the Texas Football website, they said June 14 should be the day it comes out..... Start counting down the days!!!!

That was when he tried to get Sheamus to fight him on RAW the week before... They never fought so he still has his rematch clause... I hope he does not wait until Wrestlemania to use it... Use it at the Royal Rumble...

Did any of you go? I went to RAW in Dallas that same night...

Hard to believe they had never been the Tag Team Champs

What concerns me is that Cena has not chosen to use his rematch clause, and came out Monday night and was talking about Wrestlemania... I figured Cena/Sheamus Round II would be at the Royal Rumble.... I hope so.... I can't stand that white freak!

This kid had one of the best all-around games that I have seen last Saturday against Comfort.... His performance on Saturday against Comfort may be what helps Kirbyville win against Pilot Point in San Marcos.... Pilot Point has to now prepare and plan to stop Cucancic, which will help free up Ford and other guys like Rhodes or Ervine.... Congratulations to this kid for the recognition he is receiving...

With enough interest, we will do this before this postseason.... It is going to be in Rusk if we do it, so most SETX teams are not more than an hour and a half, maybe two from there....  Would be nice to see some East Texas vs. Southeast Texas matchups!!!

I didn't explain myself well enough... Basically this is a one day deal with 5-6 playoff warm-up games in one location... A chance for fans to watch teams bound for the playoffs....

EastexSports.com has talked to an East Texas high school about the possible use of their gym for a Playoff Preview Classic, similar to what was put on at UT Tyler last season. I know there are many coaches on this site and parents and players.  If there is any interest in participating, should your team make the postseason, if you could PM me on the site or email me at [email protected], it would be appreciated. I think the ideal limit would be 12 teams, and we would try as hard as we could to match you up with a caliber of team you are interested in playing. I know that we are a long way from the playoffs, but something like this will take some planning.  Thanks for helping make the site what it is, and we look forward to seeing you on EastexSports.com!
