If that's the case, other conferences under the same ref umbrella, and they are graded (yet to be determined), we, SLC gets the bottomfeeders. Pardon my grammar you English majors. Thank goodness for spell check.

The SLC has had some of the worse refs for years. Most of the time Lamar gets the worse of end of a lot of calls. What recourse is there to have something done about the refs? I was under the impressions there is a supervisor at the games or there's some grading system for them. If there's a grading system, they should get paid according to their grade and some not get paid.

When it became apparent that Penn was blocking shots, we should have put Worrell back in and let him shoot and make his 10 footers, like his first two shot of the game. I'd like to know why Lawrence Nwevo has not played a minute in a game for a while. Just my two cents.

DenisGScottt, I remember your work as the PA and thought you did a great job and wondered why you left. I too like Bob, though I don 't know him. In a previous post I said he does a great job with what he has to work with. With your experience and knowledge you may have some influence on making some improvements on their system. It could be as simple as a turn of a control knob (no money) or some replacement of equipment. I agree...NO BASS Sometimes a high pitch shrill piercing to the ears that upset my grand kids earlier in this season. They have not been back since. Maybe a conversation with the right person about your observations would be fruitfull.

I remember one year at McNeese, a section of seats right behind the Lamar bench were empty. We got our tickets with the Lamar fans in a section just behind this section. A few Lamar fans tried to sit in that section and was run off, being told they were reserved for Cowboy Club members. Now nobody was sitting in the section at the start of the game, another Lamar fan family tried to sit in the section, not knowing.... and they were run off. Before they got out of the area a large group of McNeese students sitting off to the side in some bad seats, all a once rushed over and filled that section right behind the Lamar bench. They were carrying on.. and told us that after 5 minuted into the game the section is open to anyone. There may have been a situation arise out of that because the then AD Billick was called from his seat to deal with something. I don't like that when you have families involved with children. I think we treat visiting fans with a lot of respect as oppose to SFA, McNeese and a others. I don't see us delegating them to the crows nest like at SFA and not allowing movement after the game starts.

I'm hoping to capture a 8000+ in the Montagne before the end of the season, if not next year.

Astrodawg07, My camera is a new Canon DSLR. I am very much an amateur and learning the camera, although it is as idiot proof as any point and shoot camera. The magic is the Digital age of the image capture and the computer. A small computer program merges photos, six in this case.

This is a panoramic view that illustrates the lighting in the Montagne and shows the empty seats, many good seats that are probably owned by season ticket holders.

It would be great if there was a revival of the L Raisers, I always looked forward to watching them get at the visiting team and showing no mercy.

I have a good photo of the score board, but I can't figure out how to insert an image. All I get is this I'd like to post some other photos I have, some of which is are panoramic views of the entire Montagne Center. I maybe I should start another thread.

I'm for the Pep Band all the way or 90% of the time. Most of the canned stuff has been just garbage. So I'm showing my age Ha! What I think is they should celebrate the talent from this area, play a medley of songs from Tracy Bird, Mark Chestnut and others. This is not during the game, but before the game and after the game.

Coach, what a fantastic observation, the LIGHTS. I sit on the third row and the lights are bothersome at times. I ware glasses that may contribute so I ware a LU cap. Focusing the lights more to the court is a very easy fix. I the proper people are notified

As you might see I am a rookie, newbie and just getting my feet wet with this forum stuff. Back to to subject, I think also the first two need attention and I think the second will take care of the third. It could be they could get a sound expert to set up the sound system to optimize the acoustics in the Montage Center. I think Bob does a great job with what he has to work with.
