Thanks, where can I get tickets online for the other ones?
Here's the link to buy tickets online.  [Hidden Content]
 2.
Although I may not agree with it, Thanks for your input Terror.  ;)
I agree, I ment to mention this in my last comment.  I did not want to come across as a Terror basher, as you have good insight and input on this forum.
 3. I have been out of pocket a bit, but TT, I guess since you brought the comments to the forum they became associated to you.  I think McNeese was sweating bullets and from the rumblings of theirs fans on the long walk back to our cars, they were very disappointed.
 4. I was at the game and TT's comments are laughable.
 5.
Buzz I do not think you have the whoel story... Did you hear the coach tell him that he could not challenge for the spot??  I think not... So take your hearsay elsewhere! (maybe he just was not good enough and it is easier to make failure someone elses fault)
If you knew who Buzz is, you would not have asked the question.  I think I know who he is and I'm with him.  There should have been a  competition, it only to put pressure on the other freshman kicker. I am disappointed in the way Lamar has treated him.  It brings back old memories of in the, locals being snubbed.  And why some are negative about Lamar. Granted there are a good number of locals on the team, and there will be disappointments, but I think this one is a mistake that could come back to bite you. We will be playing SFA.  Good luck to Taylor where ever he goes.
 6. If you are not a member of the Cardinal Club, you may want to join.  We have a good time and you will get a fine Cardinal Club Sticker.  You will have accesses to Lamar University Stickers and Lamar Alum Stickers.

That's TCU. 3-1    You can watch live on CBS College Sports all access web site
My bad.  I'm trying to watch Lamar and OF-Jasper at the same time.  ;D
Me too.  Go Cats and Cards!!!
 8.
I just realized Lamar went 4-0 in 4 days by only using 5 pitchers. Pitching was pretty good to say the least and the bats were great!
I thought the hitters did a great job of going with the pitch and hitting to the opposite field.  Many were bad pitches, but were down the line and timely.
 9. The Lamar / McNeece game can be seen streaming and live stats available at [Hidden Content] You will have to register, but it is great.  The H-man and I guess Daucy will be announcing  the game. 4:15 game time. Click on SLC NOW to register.
 10.
The next level does not mean playing in the NBA alone, i meant playing overseas, i remember a guy that played here 3 or 4 yrs ago named Brandon Chappell, he was not a standout player here , and never really got the playing time the so called super stars of 2 or 3 yrs ago got, and he is in his 3rd yr playing in Germany. Alot of people criticized him a lot on here, am happy that he is playing in the next level, what about our so called super stars that played with a lot of heart?!!! i bet some of this incoming athletes will will leave after next yr and some of yall will write bad things about them like yall did about Wesley. My point being that we can't really know who can play if the coach don't give them the time to play!!
I agree with much you say, but I don't think any thing was said bad about Wesley.  He did show to be timid when he played, but that was because he did not get much playing time.  Maybe with the connection he has got with KU, he thought it best to move on.  He is a good kid.  He is a Facebook friend and has shown that he has good family support. I wonder if he would have to wait a year to be eligable to play?
 11.
#5 UTA  8  #4 SFA  4  8th
UTA 10 - SFA 4. Upsets all day.  Brackets upside down.
 12. When Shane first came here I thought he played well enough early to be a good or great point guard.  But I guess injuries and new players over shadowed him.
 13.
Wesley is gone. 99% sure on that one so that is one player. Also heard some rumors of Garza leaving.
Wesley said that in two weeks he was off for to KU.  He is a fine person and will do well in life.
 14. The site looks interesting, but you can't register.  I guess I'll try later.
 15.
Agree Coach. Nabors may have been one of our top 20...top 10? greatest players. Too bad he was on a losing team and therefore will probably not be remembered....but I'm old...and go back all the way to the Earl Dow and Phil Endicott glory days in the 1960s...so I've been around...not sure I ever saw a bigger heart on a LAMAR team than Nabors....too small for his position and crippled at that...his scoring and rebound numbers were impressive. I hope he finds a post-college employer that appreciates a big heart and tremendous work ethic...Nabors has that for sure...and next year's team will be hard pressed to have a #4 player replace him...

Good post Tyree. And just so you know Jay just had shoulder surgery to fix a torn tendon he had in his shoulder that he still played through all year.
Not only did Jay with a great heart to win and with injuries that pale to some, he showed his appreciation of the fans before, during and after the game.  He will be missed
 16.
The team should be better offensively next year so they'll win more games.  Defense has always been a weak spot and who knows if that will ever change.  Playing in the east division might translate to a few more wins, but who cares if they can't win against the good teams.  I voted that they'll win 17-22 games, but that's no big deal these days.
I don't post here much, but read more.  I find I like or agree with most of what you post, coach. I voted they'll win 17-22, but would have liked to vote 23 and more and against good teams. This is needed for the most obvious reasons, but I am having a hard time having a fun good time at games an more.  If it were not for see some old friends that have been developed over the years, there would not be any fun at all. We are losing long time fans every year. We are having good time with the Lady Cards games, which should be getting more support then their getting.
 17.
Heithoff plays soft. I like her off the bench but I think she plays to soft to start.
Dani is or was just a freshman.  She will get better.  Soft or not she IS tough. I have a number of photos of her taking a beating. Many times no foul called.  I have thought at times, she was picked on  because she is so pretty.
 18. The Lady Cards did have a great season.  They made it to the BIG DANCE!  We were disappointed in a few of our players, but we were playing the No. 10 team in the nation. Had it not been for the big lead we gave them it would have  been really interesting.  I think that Ang Green should have more playing time... why she did not play more is a wonder.
 19.
I thought UTA had a great game plan.  They executed it very well.  However, once that LU machine got rolling it was all over.  Kalis had some great rebounds down the stretch.  Brittney and Jenna pulled off some nice picnrolls. This team never quits.  Love to watch them play.    In the 2nd half, when Jenna jerked the ball away from the UTA guard that made her spin around I thought I was going to lose my mind.  She has to be the quickest little point guard i have ever seen.
She is that.  I have tried to catch some of her steals with a still camera and I can tell you it is very difficult.  This just one example of a quick switch back.             ]
 20.
Coach Tidwell would give Jenna credit as well, but that goes to show what a good coach he is.  Don't underestimate his influence.  He brought the players and asst. coaches in.  The program has had a resurgence under his leadership.  He is the reason.
I admit that he is the reason, but last year he hurt the team with his antics, hollering instructions changing plays with team on the floor having to deal with the man on them. Too many turnovers too much confusion. His game time actions on the bench are much calmer and the team is playing much better together.  The team is much more fun to watch.  It is a shame more don't go to see them play.  They are missing a very exciting game
 21.
I went to the game and was disappointed to say the least.  Roc needs to recruit some shooters, they put up some really bad shots.  They make a lot of careless turnovers and look really out of sync in their half court offense.  Nabors got hurt right before half time and wasn't much of a factor the second half.  Although Harris had 15 points, he doesn't have much of an outside shot. I wasn't impressed with Strahan Coliseum one bit.  They only had one person in the ticket booth and once inside it felt like an oversized high school gym.  Lamar is very lucky to have the Montagne Center. One last thing, when Lamar brings the ball up court, why do they stand around before running a play?  They seemed really confused on offense, or when Miles had the ball at half court, he would turn a wait for Roc to call out a play, and I thought the opposing player was going to steal the ball. It seems like Roc needs to get out of the way and let them play.
I think that if Coach Roc would just sit down and shout up he may be coaching at Lamar a little longer.  Hey, maybe we should just let Tic take over.  He has had success at Head Coach.  If the coach is confused on the bench as to what to do, then the players are too.
 22. I was at the game and not enough can be said about the students that showed up for the game. They were very loud rowdy group that stood the whole game. They looked like they were having a great time. They add so much to the attmosphere of college basketball.  They had plenty to cheer about too.  Jenna has made Coach Tidwell a better coach.  You can see it looking back at past years and see his bench antics and how they are now. It was so frustrating to watch from the stands. Jenna has turn this team around, not so much Tidwell.
 23. Officiating  in this league is ATROCIOUS!!!! But then, they were terrible in Waco too.
 24.

Badndn.....Lamar Fast Paced huh????  25 points at half!!!
Where is your smart a$$ post about the 46 point second half? And yes compared to the Mike Deane, era 67.2 ppg (THIS YEAR) is like lightning! How is your man crush doing up in NY by the way?
Wagner 2 - 15 to date.
