1. We have been to all the Lady Cards' home games and they have been some great games.  If you want to see quick run/gun b-ball, a quick point guard that will fake you out of the gym.  Her no look passes are so quick you are amassed. She is a tough player, that will take a rough charge and is always looking to steal the ball. They play well together, keeping the coach and the bench in the game. I think Jenna (point guard), has helped the coach, as he is not so frustrated.  Last year we lost games because of his changing plays in play confusing the players causing turnovers. The fan turn out is not near what it should be for this team.  But then the Lady Cards have taken it on the chin from fans a long time.

3. I'm getting what sounds like a radio station and not the game. Are any of you have a working link for the game? [Hidden Content]] [Hidden Content]]
4.
That is a very respectable showing from the Lady Cards!!!!
I agree.  Baylor is a very good team, I guess ranked.  They should come away from that game feeling good.  I think the girls have very good chemistry and play well together.  Something the boys have not reached yet.
5. Lady Cards 68 - 56 over Idaho Vandals today.  Tomorrow will be different they play NO.8 Baylor.  They are winning the games they have a chance in or ones they should.
6. The Lady Cards are taking care of business.  They won 66 - 58 over the Ragin Cajins. ;D ;D
7. I am sorry for your loss. It has to be devastating to have someone so young pass. My condolenses to you and your family
8.

LU by how many???  I say 97-59!!! I am a little disappointed that there has been no talk of the first game of the season...............where are all of the Cardinal Hoop Fans??? Who is going tomorrow night??
I have no idea what this team is like or how they play together... that being said, I think Lamar will win 104-61.
I guess it well take a game or two to stir things up. I'm interested in seeing if Miles can pick up from last year and see if Lawrence Nwevo and Coy Custer have picked up on their game. Charlie Harper, Aston Hall and Justin Nabors are needed to pick up where they left off. I hope the team can gel and play together and get the chemistry quick to really have a good season.  Injuries hurt us last year, I hope that will not hit us as hard this year, you know there will be injuries. bigredfan will be there.
9. I would like to thank KFDM for offering this opportunity.  ljeicp08, you do a great job at KFDM and was probably instrumental in getting Uncle Larry to OK this, thank you.  KFDM in is stepping into the future with INTERNET production. People from around the world can get in formed.
10. I sure hope he can return. He looks like a good big man that we need. But did you notice the title, unjury, what's that all about? : I don't write for a living, I just saying. :
11. you gonna keep it to yourself? I guess he is. Or he may have had a senior moment. It could be the start of something. It may be good time to get your first taste of Lamar football. ;D
12. I got my four season tickets in the mail yesterday. ;D If you a due to get some, you may want to make sure you get them soon. The dead line is near. "Strength in Numbers" Go Big Red!!!
13. Sounds like he's got a good head on his shoulders. Also, being young, he probably has got some growing to do ;D. GO BIG RED!!!!
14. I know you are a sport writer and a pretty good one, but I take exception to your assessment of the named players. Mahoney played well early, and filled the role well until he got hurt and never was able to play up to the previous skill level. Williams did play due to injuries, but he play above the rim much of the time and Skyer became known as SKY. He played will energy and should have played more. I believe coachacola is more right in that he had an attitude problem and I think he maybe some problems with the law. Ybarra, Pace and Riley were not quite at the level they need to be to play with Lamar. None the less none of the said players will be missed this year. I'm looking forward to the season and think that if the chemistry can gel, we should have a great season.
15. WOW, how about supporting them no matter what and not being a "fair weathered" fan I'm with you!! Strength In Numbers!!
16. Did she get a college job in Alaska, if you know? I agree she will be a success wherever she goes... Sorry, but that comment was pertaining to Janet Eaton moving on. This forum is the only place I heard of her leaving and don't know for sure it true. I agree that if she is coaching she will be a success.
17. The site looks great, I can't wait to get one of those BIG TWIST flat bill caps when the come out. Ha! Ha! I'll have to check Lids out. I don't to that mall much, need to check out Lids. A good number of my shirts came from games and Mike Deane era Cardinal Club luncheons. I wear a Lamar shirt or cap or both everyday. Some how my caps and shirts survived the storm and were saved. Well, they were together and I made sure they were saved. I get smiles and some comment on the shirt or cap. I'd like to see more peeps wearing the Lamar logo, to promote the University. You can actually go to lids.com and they have about 7 or 8 different hat styles to choose from for Lamar.

19. Sounds like to me Cotton Cargo needs to step it up, with football, softball and soccer coming on board Lamar sports, they need to support the Track program fans too.
20. I wasn't sure of this before, but I guess it's true. Hate to see her leave, she was well liked by the players and helped keep things together for Tidwell. She will do well where ever she goes.
21. Cotton Cargo is a good place to go.
22. Welcome aboard Brooke. Glad to have you here on our site. She seems very polished and confident with her job. Sometimes it is very evident they are nervous and stiff. She has the looks and polish, she will be moving on to the big leagues. Welcome Brooke to Southeast Texas
23. I don't think she liked how she was used, the ignoring what she thought and the way Tidwell use the players. Many times I wondered why would he keep playing an injured player and had a eager and willing player on the bench. Emily was a fine player, but needed help to get open for her fine shot she has. Coach Tidwell rarely would set up a play to get her open. He would yell out at the players, get them out of their game and make them hesitate in their game. I'm not sure why the move to Alaska, but she was eager to coach at Lamar. Things did not work out the way she had hoped at Lamar. Goood Luck to her in her move to Alaska.
24. Was it Roc, or was is Custer for clapping? It made no sense anyway.
25. rim, I hope it is not too serious. God's speed. They did play like they were on a mission. The young guards and also Shane played well, they had fresh legs. Roc, played KD too much and not give his young bench playing time. KD, is good no doubt, but he has been needing rest. Let's just hope we can keep it going and salvage this season.
