Wow! Boy have the tides turned in a period of one week! Three weeks ago HJ was the team on a down year and was going to get murdered by Silsbee in district. The fans were getting upset and even blaming everyone including each other. Now Silsbee has lost a few and have a worse record than HJ. The fans are blaming the road games players and getting mad at each other. It is so funny to see the tides turn so quickly. By the way, IMO Silsbees road schedule has nothing to do with their losses. We arent talking about a college or pro team that has to fly hundreds of miles every three days and live in hotels with their suit cases. They are just driving 30 minutes down the road playing game with a round ball and ten feet high rims like they would be at home. They still have a few fans to cheer them on as well. I don't think the bus is wearing them down as much as everyone is making it seem.

To try to clarify Nos' point, I think he is saying the overall average player in a big school is better than the average player in a small school. Its the fourth and fifth starter and the bench players that are better for the big schools. The top talent is usually good enough to be top talent at both their small school and a big school. Exposure is the key. Scouts aren't going to go see one possible recruit from a small school playing with nine other players that have really no shot at the next level when they can go to a big school game and see 3 or 4 players who can make it at the next level.

If Ned gets by Goose Creek which they should that should set up a big game with Silsbee barring any upsets. I think Nederland can beat them! But lets not get ahead of ourselves. Beat Goose Creek first.

Next year should be great! And I think Balbay will be very good. He needs experience but he plays very hard and is a great defender. By the end of next season I feel he can be one of the best point fuards in the big 12.

With four teams going to the playoffs its definitely possible. They should be better than Vidor PNG and LCM. Nederland is going to lose 5 of its best 6 players. And I dunno if Livingston will be that great. So its definitely doable. they just need to learn how to win and win close games. If they can do that they will be fine.

I predict Baytown Sterling to finish 3rd Sterling barely beat Nederland in the Bulldog Classic in bad game for Nederland. I think if they meet again Nederland can get the best of them. Also I don't know anything at all about Spring Dekany so I just picked BH to beat them because I know a little bit about them.
