agreed. especially since they have never won a playoff game. Hopefully that all changes this year and they can get some more big wins in Nederland history.

Kingwood Park beat HJ by 2 Can't remember the exact score. I think it was something like 54 - 52.

Great win Dogs!! And SOC had 10 there. I know at least 8 played. They had some talented guards but there post were very unathletic but still had decent size. By far the best game Ned has played all year. Even better than the HJ game. Clutch shots down the stretch and in OT. Played both OT's without Hammond because he fouled out. The entire team produced. Nederland looked real good for all 42 minutes for a change. If they play every game like this they will be a major force in district.

Silsbee cant get ahead of themselves. There is a lot of basketball left to play. District hasn't even started yet and everyone is talking about how great they are. They have to stay focused and keep improving each game or they could get upset early in the playoffs and everyone start talking about how big of a disappointment the playoffs were.

Whats up with all the inconsistantcy??? Central, Ozen, HJ, Nederland, LCM, and it seems everyone else has been so up and down. They get a big win, then a devastating loss. Silsbee is really they only team all year who has seem to come out hard every game. Good win Tigers.

HJ will be fine. They are getting ready for district. They still haven't settled in a final rotation yet. They are not looking to win all these games. They are just working on the little things. Other teams get up for HJ because they know they are better. They get everyones best shot. Once district rolls around they should be fine. The only worry is the turnovers but that will get less and less with each game. The two Silsbee games will still be great and HJ will get a few playoff wins.

Very well put. They have always been very inconsistant. Its like they are all ADHD kids who lose focus and lose a game they shouldn't lol ha. But when they are focused for a whole game and put four quarters together they are truely hard to beat.

Nederland 61 Orangefield 55 Nederland says we might as well win one more before we have to go get dominated by South Oak Cliff in the YMBL. This has been a very close game the past four years so I wouldn't be surprised if OF wins. But if Nederland can beat HJ, they should be able to beat OF.

Sterling will get in the playoffs. But I definitely don't think they are good enough to win that whole district...

I am happy for him. He has gigantic opportunity in front of him. I hope he doesn't screw it up..... He finally made the big step to get there. Maybe Rick Barnes can help straighten out that attitude problem.

How did Torres do in the State Tournament 2 years ago while winning a State Championship and in the regional Finals losing to Silsbee last year?? HJ plays a tough schedule by playing a few teams that are up and the teams that they play down are teams like Kountze and EC who are state ranked. Hey don't get me wrong Torres looks like a great player and I would love to have a player like him at HJ to take pressure off of Jarvis, but Benard is the better player day in and day out!!! We will just have to agree to disagree!!!! I wish the best of luck to Torres and the Dogs!!! Hope you guys beat Ozen!!!! ;D ;D ;D Just saying Torres has been held in check in some accounts. He has the talent to put up 25 a game like Bernard. He just looks to pass more than Bernard. He has lead team in assists for two years and honestly makes Chris Hammond such a good player. Coach English is finally trusting him to run the offense and he is putting up the numbers this year. But the best part of his game is on defense. No one ever mentions how quick he slides his feet and anticipates passes. I think he is a very underated. No discredit to Bernard.
