Does anyone know who has interviewed?  A special meeting is called for the 20th which is exactly 10 days after posting as required by law.  The agenda states that they will hire at the meeting.  Inside job?  Super's buddy? This needed to be done quickly, but wow!

You bring up Nederland.  They have had great success but did you know that in Neumann's time there, they have the same number of outright district championships as Kountze?

Heard West Hardin was nominated for West assistant coach(1A) but turned it down.  Why would this happen with a player on the team?

Will this be first district championship since the last coach left?

You are beating your head against the wall bobcat.  The 4a - 5a group in this area believes that no one below 4a plays real football!

Have been to every stadium on here and more.  Livingston is by far the worst.  light poles in front of the stands, poor surface, small stands, horrible announcer, etc.  You usually expect more from a 4A school and community.

Let's b#$%^ a little more about teachers and coaches.  The state says that the minimum salary for a teacher is 43,000.  How many other jobs do you know of where someone with 30 years in the same job make this little.  I have friends with high school educations that made way more than this the first year out of high school.  And dont tell me that schools can pay more than that.  I know they can and most, not all, do. Even if a school pays 12000 above, that's still just 55,000.

Where is the talk?  Does HD seal the fate of WH or do the oilers keep hope alive?

I believe it will only be the 5th straight.  Only beat letsinger and Simmons when they were Freshmen. Lovelady,west sabine, HD, I think in that order.

I always would want the ball in my team's hands at the end of the game.  i don't know if that is right or wrong, just the way I would play it.

Speed without discipline does not win.  SLC was never the fastest team.  Carthage wasn't the fastest team in 3A. Katy, etc., etc.

Suprising that only one is an ad.  I guess the published start date scared some off.  Mark would do great job and already knows what it is like to deal with parents of ALL sports.  Rusty would also be a good one.  Don't know the others.
