Another thing to point out Calvin Tyler looked like the best back on the field Kam Martin had no affect on this game at all 

I'ma huge fan of Toby one of the best hires BISD have made since they brought in stump however a lot of the central faithful don't feel the same

From what I've been told no one has been hired at this point, secondly if this hire is true good thing for Anthony is that the job will come back open again in the next couple years anyway.

If Memorial makes the hire I'm hearing they will...Memorial will be the best program in the area for a long time.

Why not Coach ANTHONY Boutte...do you care to explain or enter a debate with me against 5 years of experience in public school education(ALL 5 years at 6A programs; 2 years at PAMHS, 2 years at Desoto High School in which they lost in the state semi-finals, and going into his 2nd year at Spring Dekaney High School)...let's not forget, he coached under 2 state championship winning coaches in Terrell Henderson/Chris Dyer, and a state finalist coach in Travis Williams...the way he has DOMINATED freshman basketball on the "6A LEVEL" is UNFAIR to his competitors to say the LEAST!!! He's very INTELLIGENT, always has been since he was a STUDENT-athlete(National Honor Society, Magna Cum Lade Graduate & 2 sport athlete in high school where he did nothing but WIN, beat Brian English by 40 points his junior and senior year...I put that out there for the Brian English fans, great coach however, understand he is like 3-27 ALLTIME vs Boutte Sr. and the one year he did beat Ozen and Central, OZEN was in the regional tourney while VIdor was in the montage center watching)<- SO PLEASE stop claiming Brian English as the Coach K or Bo Ryan of Texas High School Basketball, he has NO EXPERIENCE in the REGIONAL tourney & he had a 6'8" Division 1 player in 2004 with a good supporting crew and the best he did was the 2nd Round of the playoffs, do your research on Brian English PLEASE. He is the SON OF LEGENDARY ANDRE BOUTTE SR. with the ability to reach out to coaches that he has built close relationships with like HALL OF FAME COACH JAMES GAMBLE for any situation YOU feel he is not ready for...get off LITTLE BOUTTE's back, he's only your NEPHEW that you do nothing but speak NEGATIVE about EVERYTIME he is mentioned; he's only 26 years of age, a GREAT FATHER, something that MOST MEN BOTH YOUNG AND OLDER MEN LACK; Coach ANTHONY Boutte is not perfect by no means, HOWEVER, he's a perfect hire for this job and when he does get opportunity WHEREVER it may be because he will get an opportunity here soon even if it is off the legacy his father built...He will make a GREAT COACH & EVERYONE THAT KNOWS HIM LIKE YOU DO, KNOWS ALL OF THESE THINGS AS WELL.  In closing, he has a MASTER's degree in EDUCATION with PRINCIPAL CERTIFICATION...therefore YOU may feel like he is not ready BUT he is DEFINITELY QUALIFIED for the position according to the TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY, & many people like YOURSELF can not say the same!!! I like Jacquet as a QB but like I said before this award is bogus no way Jacquet is the best offensive player in this area

You gotta take a few things into account Davis, 1. Demarcus was the feature back which means he got majority if not all the carries Dauphine wasn't. 2. Demarcus played with one of the best WR in the state which allowed WB's offense to spread the field better. Dauphine played in a offense where the defense knew either 1 or 2 players where getting the ball, so the defense could key in on those two.

I hear you Davis but give Dauphine the O-Line WB had and see what he does, on top of him sharing carries! I've stated several times on here that Demarcus is much better than Kam Martin IMO but he's nowhere close to the Dauphine kid. Like I said Dauphine is the best back I've seen in SETX since C-Mike! No knock on your son but he's not better than Dauphine!

As I sit here and read mighymouse post I can't help but agree with him, I've actually been saying what he's saying the entire year. Coaches in SETX aren't preparing kids to play at the next level, and the offensive/defensive schemes are elementary. Especially for teams like PAM & Central. It doesn't surprise me at all that most SETX teams(all of 22-5a) took first round exit. I was going to get on here and actually predict that it would happen but I know you guys would've killed me for being "negative" as you guys call it. The talent or #'s aren't the issue in SETX football it is essentially the IQ's of the coaches on the sideline. Only staff that I've witnessed that was really good was Coach Stump & his crew but even they probably weren't were they should've of been. If you guys go watch football out of the area i.e the Houston or DFW area you'll see the big difference in discipline, offensive/defensive schemes etc. Until we get better coaches SETX football will remain mediocre.

Man I can't stress enough how simple Central offense is...won't beat a good team running a offense like that! Toby still believes that "out athleting" folks is going to win at this level. Not gone happen especially when you start playing teams with the same talent level. This isn't WOS/3a ball anymore you gotta have good offensive and defensive schemes. I still do believe that Toby is a great coach and does a tremendous job at motivating those keeps which i believe is his greatest asset as a coach but I don't believe he's the best X&O guy which will show and eventually end Centrals season VERY soon. 
 
 
On another note, I attended the Manvel/Pearland game yesterday and I watched Manvel offense move with perfection and I thought to myself its no reason Central offense shouldn't move like this. Just as much talent on offense and a QB just as good(well maybe not lol)
 
I think a lot of the local area teams will take early playoffs exits because of the elementary schemes that most of our area teams run. Thats just my two cents though  :D
