[/quote] Well, for the most part, it is true.  The fan-bases around here are fairly solid.  I've been to many games when we were still in 22-5A that were standing room only and we just were not good in any stretch of the imagination back then. [/quote] I know the kids really appreciate it and there's nothing better than high school football around the holidays.  Nice little buzz around the town and it does wonders for the younger generation coming up through the athletic program.  The kids see the older kids having success and it really pushes them to do better.

If you score 40, Ozen scores at least 41.  Another upset, which is good medicine for arrogance,  (JMO) [/quote] Like I've said in another post in reference to certain teams, each year you plan to win the State Championship and nothing else.  Brenham is on a totally different level than any other team in this area, including Dayton, Nederland, PNG, Vidor etc etc etc...This game won't even be close.  If you've seen a team that makes it to the state finals then you know what I'm talking about, talent wise.  Brenham has that team AGAIN.  Ozen beat an overrated BH team IMO and is just a bump in the road for Brenham's run.  Don't get me wrong Ozen may have some studs but Brenham's whole team is full of Div I talent.  If Brenham does lose it won't be by a 20-4A team.

Man I could care less about Crosby, no love lost here.  Nice dominant win tonight and 20-4A is 1-0.....is it me or does Vidor sound like Lumberton after they had finally made the playoffs?  Enjoy today because it may be gone tomorrow.  Congrats!

As I've said before PNG counts on their huge fan base to win their games for them and its just not as intimidating as it used to be, especially against a Dayton team that is used to the hostile playoff environment.  Hats off to PNG for their following, it's like none other, but it doesn't mean a hill of beans unless you can back it up.  Right now PNG and Dayton do just enough to win.  Going to be a good one.
