[/quote] I read right through that article in the barnicle, the Manvel Head Coach is already looking past the lil'Ponies.  Like I said, the Broncos have absolutely no pressure on them.  The kids and fans @ Manvel should be excited being highly ranked and as stated already have won the Championship.  To me that puts alot of pressure on them kids when they havent been there before.  This mediocre Dayton team just might surprise ya....

[/quote] That's pretty funny, 7mary3. Dayton hasn't hit 50 against anyone this year, even defensive powerhouses like Galena Park, CE King and Houston North Forest. Yet you "know for a fact" they would have done so against Yates.  ::) [/quote] Those teams are not Yates and it was just my OBSERVATION...all those other games/teams dont mean squat!  When the playoffs start the season starts over, oh wait, yall are still new to all this post-season stuff...

Galena Park Stadium is really nice and will have plenty of room for both sides.  The stadium sits directly behind San Jacinto College.  Vidorians take Hwy 90 or IH-10 to Uvalde and turn at Wallisville, you can't miss the stadium.  Home parking is on the north side of the stadium and visitor parking is on the south side of the stadium.

I'll just hunt in the morning and make the game in the evening.  Problem solved.  Not making it to West Texas until mid-December so 7MacdaddyMary3 will be there.....

I watched the Manvel v Yates contest...pretty sloppy.  If Manvel didn't score 50 plus points on them it would have been a travesty because I know for a fact Dayton would have scored 50 plus on them w/out the turnovers.  This game is going to be fun.  I don't mind Dayton scoring quickly and often but I sure do like them long sustained drives to give our defense a rest.  Lots of points in this game.

[/quote] Well, then to discredit Manvels opponents I should have listed them all but what good would that have done.  I feel like La Marque and Dawson were the better of the schedule/credible wins and Dayton has already proven that it can hang with and beat 5A programs, along with beating El Campo, not that it matters.  Also, Dayton's game between them and Angleton could have gone either way and some will say Dayton should have won that one, not that it matters.  I will give credit where credit is due and Manvel is definetely the favorite over Dayton and well deserving of the ranking etc.  Dayton has been battle tested through and through every year when it comes to big games and that helps tremendously.  Depending on which Dayton team shows up, Dayton will be the underdog no doubt but [color=red][i]they still have to play the game[/i][/color].  Going to be fun.

Going to be a good one.  To me it just doesn't phase Dayton when it comes to records, rankings, stud RB, stud QB, size, speed yada yada yada.  I really thought MW was going to give Dayton fits with their size, stud RB, and stud QB......they were absolutely stunned, heard me.  If Manvel scores then Dayton will do the same, doesn't matter how many studs etc are on the opposing team.

Honestly, I like it when Dayton plays the more superior teams, so to speak.  You get the best out of your kids IMO when they face this kind of talent.  There will be no inferiority complex by the Broncos, they just go out and play.  I will be the first to say this, I haven't necessarily bought into their system this year with all the ups and downs BUT they have made me a believer.  Broncos are peaking at the right time.

I can assure you if there's one team that rankings, size etc etc etc don't mean a thing to it's the Broncos.  Maybe if it was their first or second year in the post-season but this coaching staff has been there and back.  If that same offense shows up from lastnight this game will be a shootout, no doubt.
