Can't figure out that with all that refinery money ya'll have there are two dollar stars within 100 yards from each other on Eagle Drive....I guess when that Wal-Mart goes in on 146 behind the Jack n the Box that will be upscale?  Humor me.

Dayton fans "beleive" everyone except them suck.  When someone plays Dayton and Dayton wins, that team then become a great team that Dayton beat and Dayton will follow that team for the entire year. [/quote] Hookem's (game changer/brother/family member) did play the first half.  He was helped off the field at the end of the first half after an interception.  I have not yet heard the diagnosis on the injury, but he did not play the second half.  The sideline for Liberty looks like an infirmary every week.  In my opinion this is due to discipline, poor off season program, and a lack of intensity during practice.  The kids are just not prepared physically for game speed. [/quote] Here is the problem with Liberty's players, they're getting the crap kicked out of them every week.  If they were winning these games, you wouldn't see nearly as many injuries.  Once the going gets tough, Liberty folds up like a cheap tent.  I'm so frustrated by this I can barely see straight.  I have supported this team for the past several years and have seen a great influx of talent come and go under the directions of crappy coaching and even crappier players attitudes.  I am hard on LIberty because they deserve better.  Until their players realize that, they will continue to be a joke.  Most of those kids who are in the "infirmary" are well enough to do whatever they please Saturday.  I've heard from coaches who are frustrated with the players not wanting to get back from injuries.  They want to wear the jersey to the pep rally, but not wear it to battle.  I'm tired of it.  Something has to be done by someone who can.  It needs to happen asap. [/quote] If i had to pick the best Dayton defense it would have been the year we got beat by Bay City in the playoffs.  Cant remember the year.  We beat Bay City everywhere but the scoreboard.  They had probably less than 50 yards of offense on us and we still lost.  That defense that year would kick your A##. [/quote] Along with the team I mentioned and that team by far top 2 best ever...not to take anything away from the current kids but it kind of gives them a model to go by and I would definetely get the current kids to watch old tapes of them two teams.

Does it really matter who wins?  Heck, every team in the district will make the playoffs so it kind of takes away from the whole District title, make the playoffs accomplishment.  Really just sucks if you ask me.

Daytin has alot of senior talent this year are there would be more than that. As I've already stated FB was good but weren't that good, at all.  If FB would have been classified 4A none of this nonsense would even be posted.  It's nice to say a 4A team beat a 5A team and so on and so on.  I'm a Dayton faithful but geeeeeeez enough already on how good and big and blah blah blah FB was.  THEY WEREN'T THAT GOOD.  Dayton is 1-0 and will have their hands full with Livingston.

I'll say it again FB was good but they weren't that good.  They reminded me of the inner-city schools Dayton used to drum by 30 plus points on a regular basis.  The athletes are there but the coaching is horrible and IMO the athletes probably run the team not the coaches.  Dayton has some growing up to do this year after what I saw Friday night.  For the record I'm not a big stat guy so it doesn't matter when Dayton or FB won this or won that or yada yada yada...Dayton's 1-0 and SC is 1-0 nuff said.

Seen alot of young mistakes and arm tackling on the defense, little rusty.  Secondary is going to have to take some huge steps this year IMO.  O-line has some size finally but I guess the one thing that I noticed tonight is that there wasn't really anyone that stood out like years past.  Not to take anything away from the Broncos beating a good football team but if Elkins would have had some coaching I think the score would have been different.  Elkins had athletes all over the field and that poor #6 dropped 21 points by himself.  With that being said the Broncos should improve weekly and make a decent run come district.

I know this is the highschool thread but had to send some love for the Middle School ladies.  I was at the 7th grade A-team game lastnight in BH and wow there are going to be some excellent games between the two groups over the next several years.  BH has some great size and will definetely make some noise in years to come.  Don't know why BH's coach kept their best player off of the court the whole night but I guess thats why I was sitting in the stands.  Dayton was just relentless on defense and has some excellent ball handlers as well.  For the record I would not want to ref one of these games, lol, them poor guys caught some major flack.
