Listening to the Director of the UIL, I didn't realize how much they cater to the athletes by putting name plates on their lockers in the locker rooms.  That's something they'll never forget in their lives, first class.  He didn't elaborate on anything else but i'm sure there is more that Jerry's World does for the athletes and all that participate in the festivities.

Manvel is absolutely blowing it...dropped passes, pitches, penalties, coaching.  Can't do that against a 2 time state champ, the big stage has gotten to Manvel.  AIR IT OUT!!!!!!!!  Geeeeez!!!!!!

Maybe I just missed it but what time is the game on Saturday?

The thing with LT is that they kill you with their depth.  Compared to the best athlete that plays for your team, LT has several that can match him.  The second best athlete on your team, LT has several players that can match him...it goes on and on.  They have second stringers for the second stringers....

[/quote] I totally agree...after seeing Manvels defense I agree they will match up well against LT's high powered offense.  Every team this deep in the playoffs has a good offense, it's the defense that wins it.

Congratulations Manvel, the better team won tonight and it was just a good old fashioned butt whoop'n.  The depth, size, and speed outside killed our defense.  Manvel's defense played lights out and shut down a really good offensive team in Dayton.  Keep it together next week and LT awaits...going to be a doozy! Thank you Coaches and Players for another great season.  Can't wait until next season with all of the talent we have returning and coming up through the ranks.

Manvel is trying to gift wrap it for the Broncos & they can't capitalize.  Good thing for Manvels defense they're playing lights out.

I'd also like to believe that the four teams left in our bracket could go toe to toe w/Lake Travis and represent the region very well.  A tough task at hand but not impossible.

IMO our defense is still vulnerable to the big play, DB's won't get their heads around, and most importantly it seems over the past several years the hit ya'n the mouth reputation has gone away.  When Dayton beat Waller in Cy-Fair a few years back that was the most physical football game I have ever seen in highschool sports.  I wanna see some heads knocked off when those receivers come across the middle.  Dayton needs to get that type of physicality back.  Daytons offense for the most part is pretty successful.  They can sputter @ times but I think it has to do w/the play calling, to many lateral plays when we should be going more down the field.  The team as a whole has made great strides over the season and are peaking @ the right time.  If the same Broncos team that played last Saturday shows up Manvel will have their hands full.
