The Vidor Pirates want to thank all of you people in Lumberton that wanted Coach Credeur to leave.  We just got a great coach a great man and a great leader.  Oh and by the way....we just got a lot better. Thanks again! [/q uote]That's a good hire for you guys coach. Congrats.
 2.
Just wondering. I played football back in the late 70's with a Craig Stump in Big Spring.  I think his dad was a coach also. Does anyone know if this might be the same person?
Craig Stump started at QB for Thomas Jefferson (I believe in 1981) and if memory serves won the 5A title against Permian. Went on to start at A&M a season or two. Knows the game and a very fine coach. I talked to a guy from Atascosita a couple months ago that had a son playing. They feel really good about where their program is headed.
 3. ALL THE ABOVE! Best wishes to GT the next two weeks. You have the potential to take it all. I truly think you will. Congrats!
 4. Raidergirl you are a sweet young woman and a class act. You haven't made a negative post about anyone all year long that I remember. I think all on this site would agree that you are the epitome of sportsmanship. If I would have had a daughter my wish would be that she would be like you. Thanks for all your support! Your mom should be very proud!

 6. GO STANGS. Unleash the Beast. Us Ned folks are totally with you and that great Chain Gang Defense. Make us proud! You guys are on a roll and a mission. WO-S 21-13

A bit off topic but didn't see a need to start another thread. Who is #28 for Ned? He is an athlete. Very impressive.
#28 is also #52.....when he plays tight end he wears 28....on either line he wears 52....his name is Jorge Del Fierro.
Thanks dawgnut.

 9.
Nederland got lucky.. They'll lose next round.
The harder you work the "luckier" you get. Ned dominated that game for three quarters. If ignorance is terminal you better pick out a plot.
 10. His dad said after the game last night he tweaked his bruised shoulder and should be good to go next week. He'll be there and effective as usual.
 11. From the broadcast it sounded like Angleton made the mistake of playing a cover three dime defensive package with a three man rush (at least early in the game). SC tried the same stuff with similar results. We must pressure that QB. If he has time to stand in the pocket he'll eat a defense up. When pressured he seems to make at least some bad decisions. Neds front four can go a long way toward stopping that passing game and containing the run. I'm betting our defense will show GT another type of football. I really believe another effort like that against Dawson will get us to the next round.
 12.
What yall don't know is that after the phantom field goal coach pops had to "take a break" and realized his johns were on frontwards!!! He quickly made the switch and the rest is well.....history.
My mother-in-law is a genious. She took two pairs of my long drawers, split them down the middle, and sewed the two opposite halves together kinda like those half Ned, half PNG shirts like I've seen in the MCM games. Half frontwards and half backwards. Now I have two pairs of hybrid drawers. I am now good for any game situation. Anytime, anywhere.  ;) 8) That game was something special. I bet after the game some of those Dawson players jocks had been knocked backwards. Great Game Dogs!!! Another huge challenge next week. Stay focused.
 13. Pulling for Angleton. This game will be close. Cats win late.
 14. The Warden washes em pretty regular. I retire them after football season every year and make burnt offerings of them via the bbq pit. She doesn't know about that part. ;D
