I personally feel, if your a variety football player, you should have thr privilege of having your last name on the back of your jersey. Most guys will never play past high school. Having your name on the back of your jersey is pretty cool. I get get all the "team name on front" crap, but the name of the back is pretty cool too. I know many 6A an 5As do and I think Jasper was one local school that use to.

I could be wrong but I don't think PN-G does unless they make the playoffs.

  2. Defense looked much better than I expected. #24 had a rough night but #2 was a bright spot in the secondary. He was all over the field.

Offense needs some work. Crippen has a lot of arm talent but his WR's struggled to get open. Most of the passes he threw was into tight coverage. The offense was very bland though. We ran about 6 different plays that I could see. Over and over. I know it is by design but it looked like the first week of two a days on the offensive side.

    Where did you hear that?

The cleaning lady here at work said they got a letter sent home stating that students would not get their schedule or chrome book until they had proof of vaccination. It also included a list of places where they can get the vaccine. I didn't personally see the letter but I have no reason to doubt her. She has three kids in PAISD. 17, 15 and 12.

I struggle at math. And have a 2nd grade education. And my experience level on football is based off Tecmo Bowl games. However, I don’t dispute your numbers, actually when I run out of fingers and toes I just quit. But 4 seed at best, and my QB observation is on point. Just read this back in a month or so. I am by no means a BF hater, nor lover. He is a great offensive mind. And from what RJ told me, he’s actually a great defensive mind. However he doesn’t coach the other side of the ball.BF actually called the play in the timeout that Nederland ran to beat us when RJ was QB. However, as usual, our defense was out of position. So put your Pom poms down for a bit and take my words for what they are. It’s all opinion based, and maybe Tecmo Bowl isn’t actually the education needed to coach football or evaluate talent. But those that know me, know I don’t mince my words. Love me, or hate me, I’m just a clown 🤡 without makeup stocking up on toilet paper for the upcoming next pandemic. PM me if you run out!!!

We can settle this on your expertise right now... Original Tecmo Bowl. One game to win, which team you playing with?

Sadly I do. Don’t believe the hype of the internet. You will see a QB carousel this season. And you will not see a vastly improved defense. Maybe the kicker is good, but 3 points at a time will not help.  Take this info you your bookie, it’s golden!!  My credentials are famous. World renowned. Guarnere will be the breakout reciever  of the Corp, if you are looking for a bright spot.

I am not buying any hype. But the 40 plus points a game was a bit of a stretch and I get it since you are a Faircloth hater. We will get out athleted and scores ran up but lets not act like since he has been here his offense hasn't been plug and play. In his 12 years at PN-G his team has only given up more than 40 points in a game more than twice in a season on 3 occasions. (2010 (4 times), 2012 (3 times) and 2020 (3 times). While the offense averages 5.5 games a year over 40 points. So while you might fail at simple math I won't dispute your pick as the 4 seed. Just have to wait and see.

Well your favorite rah rah hater is back!! I said last year PNG would compete for the #4 spot and I will say the same this year. I think Crosby and Nederland are locks for playoff spots. I think PNG will need to pick up a win against TC to go in as #4. Defense will be a tad better possibly, but who knows. They are moving kids all over the place, so I expect the same missed assignments as usual. I think the tall sophomore will see a lot of playing time at QB, the starter has been injury prone. Receivers are average and the loss of Reid at RB hurts us IMO. Bost was a very good athlete, and he made up for a lack of a lot of other stuff and had ice water in his veins. I think a 5-5 season will be a success. From what I read we have a great kicker, but when you are giving up 40+ a game, 3 points doesn’t help much. So mark this post for later review. Look for PNG to go in as a 4, or not go in. This my friends is the truth, truth!!!!!

You dont know what you are talking about.

3 starters on O-line. Rumor is looking for a new center! What’s the deal? That’s 3rd good size aggressive lineman walking off! The other two from the junior class were scouted as freshman!

Are you claiming we have kids quitting the program?

You should just retract this post! The whole community knows there is some bullshit going on! Cmon man......or woman!

You are right. The team this year was littered with imbeciles you didn't have a clue what position they even played while D1 talent was riding the bench because Faircloth wanted to ride some parents jocks.

I’ve known numerous parents that will do almost anything for the coaches just so their kids will play. Not all coaches partake but it happens. Hence my screen name.

That could be true but I can assure you Faircloth is not playing a kid that cant put his pads on without help to satisfy some board member or influential parent. If you have proof spill it. Don't hide behind your screenname

I agree with you 100% but it’s not going to happen. I watched just about every state game of 5A and 6A. Every school had a least 1 kid playing both ways. One team, can’t remember which one, had a kid that played receiver and corner. He had two TD’s receiving and two picks on D. If those teams can do it and play more games and play for State there is no excuse why PNG can’t except that Fairclothe won’t let it happen because more parents would b__ch about their kids not playing. This is one of the reasons why. Not playing kids both ways means there is 22 spots open for 22 kids. Welcome to PNG where little Johnny doesn’t even know how to put his pads on right but deserves playing time because mommy demands it or she will go to the superintendent.

    That has literally never happened.

It’s also not a rant. Just pointing out the silliness of how the district does this. For example, how many of those kids on that list will get a D1 scholarship. Branch is committed to one and didn’t even make 1st team high school district. Now how much sense does that make ?

I see kids all the time across the state that end up at a major D-1 school that don't make all team first district. If you put Bost on Crosby with the athletes they have he likely throws for 4,000 yards. You want to talk D-1. Look at what some of these kids did with not even a JUCO level talent around them.
