Nederland volunteered to take the png games, the pngyfa said no. so Nederland took all the games that wanted to play and hosted with standing water on the fields. PS, if its the same soccer coach you have had for the past 5 years, he is a moron and no one should care what he says.

It was not him. The other coach. We only practiced once last week because of them not wanting us on the fields. We (PNG-P) pee wee are going into week 4 and have played only one game. It is frustrating.

I assume tax players dollars should count for something but I guess they don't.

  2. This had nothing to due with PN-G playing on Saturday. The field and sidelines had standing water. They were not able to paint any markers due to the water. Also the soccer coach throws fits about the fields getting damaged.

My complaint is that no attempt was made to play the games. We have a million dollar turf field not being used. The kids would have been beyond pumped to play on it.

    got a team?

    Lol. I was kidding man.

We already had to ban one parent this year and the kid was removed from the team due to the dad coming onto the field cussing us and threatening moms. The guy insisted his kid was not a bench warmer but the poor thing couldn't even lineup in a left or right set. So I know how it goes with parents. It is just frustrating to put in time and effort to coach these kids and have parents who do not do anything but complain.

  4. I coach on PNG Purple pee wee and my son lines up and blocks 95% of the time. He is not out getting glory or playing somewhere he shouldn't because I coach. So here is my opinion. If a parent is going to sit on the sidelines and choose to not be involved, not work with their kid to make them better than they need to keep it shut. We are all volunteers putting in time, dealing with some kids who won't listen, some who should not even be playing because it is a safety issue and others who are forced by the same parents who sit in their vehicles and watch practice to play.

So if someone wants to yell "daddy ball" get off your butt and come coach or get more involved. Until then, sit in the stands or your car and enjoy the 250 you spent on league fees.

yeah saturday will be  good game. we are trying some kids at new spots so im really excited to see how we do.

Same for us. Coach went back and watched some video so we know where the blocking break downs were and will fix that. Our kids have to learn to put their nose down and get the 3 or 4 yards instead of bouncing it outside.  On defense we played great until after the delay.

Hf is no cupcake game though. Small school doesn't mean easy street. Ask WBB-B about WOS

No doubt but we have scrimmaged PNG-G twice and they wont get beat by Lumberton White.

We get HF this season also so it will be interesting to see how they match up with y'all.

  7. PA hand picks teams. We all know this. They also pick kids from Mid county and get waivers to let them play in PA. It is all good though. We have about 15 kids that can play and about 10 that have no business being in pads at all. It makes practice horrible. We cant mix the kids enough to get any better.

guys are yall playing any Def. lol can ANYBODY score on PA BLK?

Defense is at a disadvantage in Pee Wee. The refs let most holding go. Coaches at the line making adjustments to the defense. Literally PA-Reds coach was moving players once they lined up and telling them who to block. PA-Black plays very good defense. I am not sure if many points were scored on them at all last season.

OUCH... i believe the weather messed up alot of games this pasted wkd, and i also think its going to be the same this wkd. Have you seen this Ned white group he speaks so high of?

We scrimmaged White. They are solid. I think outside PA-Black and the Beaumont team (I can't remember which one) all the teams are capable of competing with each other.

PA-RED isn't bad nor is WBB -gold

We played PA-Red this weekend. They are not on the same level as PA-Black. They beat us (Red) but we had twice as many plays where we held them to a loss or no gain. They would take a broken play to the house and it killed us. Fumbled snaps led to 3 TD's Two for them where they came out of a pile with the ball and scored and one on defense when we fumbled.

  11. Well PA-Red took it to us. We were competing great until the lightning delay. It was 6-0 with 31 seconds until half. Our ball. We came out after the delay and had some bad time managenment. Gave PA the ball with 9 seconds on the 30. One play and a score. 12-0

Start the second half with a ball off our player on the kickoff. PA recovers and scores next play. 18-0

We have a nice drive and with a wet ball in shotgun our QB fumbles. Scoop and score for 25-0.

We matched intensity until the lightning delay and deflating score before half when we should have ran the clock out. Good win PA-Red

    Any other scores?
