The score. time. down and distance worked. They did not use the video board. Also there are new 40 second play clocks that also show the game time on the top as a bonus.

It was kind of a sarcastic comment because there was a whole thread about it a few weeks back. I was kinda poking at that thread. I agree with you that is was small on the bottom. I actually operated the scoreboard at the scrimmage. It was easy to work. The rep from  the scoreboard company was there and there is a way to use the big screen for time and score also. Will see how they proceed.

I'm disappointed no one has mentioned the new scoreboard and how good it looked and worked!!!.

 

Liberty has to do more than run a rugby style offense.

That was a fun interview to listen to.

Solid as usual. Should be a very competitive playoff bracket in Region 3. As with any team, injuries during the season can make or break you. 

Hate to hear this. He was a player at Ozen when I kept stats for them. Always gave me a big hug anytime I saw him.

Will not be at Butch, Texan Drive seems to be the place everyone loves to play. Throw out what you think is logical.

They are on the UIL Baseball Site. Big Sandy Semi is Wednesday and Kville Semi is on Friday.

The only thing I would have liked to see is 112% on both 12 yard lines near the sideline.

I have seen both this year and they look to be very similar. Close series. 

Only thing I can think of is that he was out of the catchers box at the time of the throw. Both of your feet have to be out of the box for a balk to be called. i saw it only once in my time.

If the base umpire was on the line and had a good look at it, they could get together and reverse call. The proper mechanic is if it looks like trouble, the base ump at first should go out and make call. If base umpire goes out then home plate home will have to get in position to make a call at second or third. That is if it was a 2 man crew. If this was a 3 man crew, it is the 1st base umps call all the way. The old days of the home plate ump has all the lines and all the fly balls is not correct in today's mechanics,

I do not agree that the runner should be called out. Delayed dead ball then runners awarded bases. Kind of unusual that a runner would pass someone that is that far ahead of them. Sometimes you have to use common sense. If there is a delayed dead ball then a runner gets thrown out trying to take extra bases that's a different thing. Doesn't sound like the case in your play.

I Agree, I have had a number of High School coaches say that select ball is hurting the sport.
