Defending well in spurts but still struggling on the offensive side.  Puts us at 2-0 going into Nederland Tourney this weekend

LOL…This game will not be a blowout…Jasper is not LaMarque or BC!!

This tournament is LOADED!!  Some of the teams in it are:
Duncanville - 6A #2,  SA Reagan - 6A #7,  Cibolo Steele - 6A #13,  Langham Creek - 6A #14,  SA Clark - 6A #15,  McKinney - 6A #21,  Cedar Park (defending 5A State Champs) - 5A #1,  Pflugerville - 5A #9,  New Braunfels - 5A #24.
All the other teams in it are all playoff teams who went 2-3 rounds deep.  HJ is the only 4A in the tournament.

If correct it'll be BU-(Lite) vs 6A #1 Desoto... Lace them up and play the game. Play the best to be the best. Great learning 
opportunity.

And as much as we miss the ton of work he put into this site, we miss his quick wit and insightful posts more.   He was one of a kind and irreplaceable in every sense of the word.  But thank you to Mike (and Lisa) for doing all you can to try and pick up the slack.  As bullets said, I don’t think it will ever be like it was.  That’s what happens when you try to replace the irreplaceable. 

Only been a handful of teams that have fans or coaches that care enough to post on here for the last few years anyway.

6ft 4LB????????????  Must be one REALLY skinny fella!!!!

And saw them play Silsbee then PA.  Played without Princess.  Still dominated Silsbee and PA.  Still lots to work on, but I love to see the 6’1” PG and a really good freshman guard that got like 8 steals vs Silsbee and like 10 vs. PA.  (2 quarter games with running clock). I say we’re poised for yet another deep playoff run.  Let’s see how it unfolds…
