  1. How does PNG lose to Livingston and remain in the top 10 and Livingston is on the outside looking in????

Must have used the BS (I mean BCS) computer system!!!! ;) ;D

Kind of agree with you, Lazeek. Livingston should be ahead of PNG after beating the Indians by 20 points. No fluke win there and the Lions are 2-1 in district.

Livingston should definitely be ahead of PNG as they beat them head to head...seems like a no brainer to me.

    ??? My thoughts exactly

Kind of curious, anyone think PNG will stay in the rankings this week? Will Livingston get in?
  2. :o :o :o Hey Soulja was that you I seen watering the grass at The Babe today?? hmmm Still must not of got enough water yesterday... I am glad to see you taking care of that field like that......  ::)

They say the key to green healthy grass is an ample amount of water.  Yes, Soulja has a green thumb.  I'm just following orders.   ;D

I'm just wondering, since when did they use fire hydrants to water the grass??? :P
  3. Just curious, In your playoff scenario, You are assuming Lumberton looses to Nederland & PNG?? And furthermore you ASSume that PNG beats Ozen, Vidor, & Central?? You know what they say about assuming stuff.

No I never ASSumed anything. I predicted as the title says. You Lumberton fans are so sensitive!

Assume -  to take to be true without proof.

Predict - to foretell something; prophesy.

Raiders will win the district and will never lose another game...Ever. Because their fans take it to be true without proof!  ::)

Get over yourselves. You had one very good season, not great, but very good and you get your panties in a wad if someone doesn't pick your beloved Raiders to win it all!

LOL, (stomping foot on the ground)...NO!, NO!, NO!....Everyone in the wolrd knows that L-Town is gonna win the superbowl this year, and for the next 100 years to come. Creduer is going to be frozen in nitrogen and carted out to the sidelines at every game to lead the Raiders to the longest winning streak in the history of football. You guys are just gonna have to buy into the program, that's all there is to it...... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ::)

  4. I predict a heavy dose of Beard on anyone how comes out of Ozens backfield... The Bruising attack of Hanna... And the superior coaaching staff of Lumberton in this one...  The only way Ozen has a chance is through the air... And they will try just that...  28-21 Lumberton.

Seems like Livingston tried that recipe, how many times were they intercepted?

  5. obcowboy,

I dont think the fans are leaving because of the players or any disrespect to the kids.  Of the thousands of fans that attend a football game only a few hundred are players parents and family that will stay to the in support no matter what.  The rest are there to watch football, and like you read in the previous quotes its hard to watch bad football. I can tell you this because I am a fan of football. I attend games with no relationship to the players or coachs and I am just there to watch football and I can tell you I cannot sit and watch a great bunch of good kids that I know are talented and dont have the leadership to excute on the field. Its frustrating and I cant sit through it.

I kind of take exception to this. L-Town has been an extremely bad team before and yet the fans for the most part show up and stay. Me personally, I stay until the last tick unless we're blowing out a team, then I might head out with 10 seconds left. BTW, although I love my niece and appreciate the band, I'm there for the football. I was shocked at how few fans Central had at kick off, although more showed up, Beaumont is just not far enough away for that few people to be there for kick off.

  6. cmon BmtSoulja1...you got to be kidding me...Right? (intentionally losing)...As for iwonsee's comment about not needing respect/congrads, etc...I, for one, appreciate the congrads and the respect...It's taken a long time for the Raiders to earn the respect of area teams and I would hate to short-change them by writing off their accomplishments...Thanks for the classy comments and the lack of excuses...I will say one thing though...I hated all of the "blaming the officials" garbage from last week (when Vidor beat Lumberton) but it just may be that the injured defensive players were a key factor in the second half...Again, if they were hurt, it was probably due to Vidor playing "smash-mouth" football so kudos to the Pirates..But, I do have to believe that, with the starters in the game, things may have been different in Vidor...Who knows? That's not an excuse for the loss but I definitely saw a better second half team with Beard running the show against Central (broken collarbone and all).

broken collarbone??? there is no way in heck you can play football with a broken collarbone.

Possibly it's true. Beard may have broken collar bone.
