That's just one of many examples. Spare me the "liberal media" speech because that is not the root of this. I am no Trump fan, but I'm certainly no liberal either. I would ask any follower of Christ to explain why they thought they could support a man like Donald Trump. Between his blatant immorality, his disregard for human life, and his insistence that immigrants be locked out and deported, I can find no reason for any believer to attach their name to this man. Yet, so many do because he "wasn't Hilary" and said he was pro-life. Hear me on this:  Pro life means pro life. That's pro life of fetus', pro life of immigrants, pro life of Bowe Berghdal. There is no distinction. He is as evil as any candidate that the liberals would've put up there and he is not the "lesser of two evils". He is the equal of two evils.
Nevertheless, the Lord has ordained this man as the leader of our country and I will continue to seek the Lord until His purposes in this are made clear. I just fear that the one all these believers think is going to be our savior is the one being used by the Lord as an instrument of judgment.

Yes, they lose some but have stud starters returning in key positions, an all-district quarterback and wide receiver, some experience on the offensive line and some key cogs on the D-line and at linebacker.

It has been quite a school year for the folks East of the Trinity.  The 3 aforementioned championships were great, and don't forget about the Legacy Christian girls basketball team who won state championship gold, the Port Arthur Memorial 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams and Silsbee's Kalon Barnes, who won two golds in the 100 and 200m runs.

He is a long-time head baseball coach. He has over 500 wins and now owns 3 state championships. He does, however, work as an assistant football coach in the baseball offseason..

Hard to convey how happy I am for the Indians to pull this out.  We all expected for WOS and Silsbee to win, but you guys surprised most, except the PNG faithful.  I'm proud of all three of our SETX State Champions.  S A L U T E !

Folks there will be a celebration at 9:30 tonight at the PNG highschool. They are asking anyone whether an Indian or not to attend. All of SETX is welcome. If you are interested be there at 930 tonight.  The boys bus is expected at that time

Its a rare occurrence. PNG state championship win is only the fourth time a team from the golden triangle has won the state championship in baseball. Beaumont South Park won in 1951 Beaumont High in 1959 and TJ in 1983. Congrats to PNG on the win.

Also this should send a message to local schools--- the only baseball coach in the area to win state in the past 10 years (since Jasper won in 2007) came from OUTSIDE OF THE AREA... Yet local schools still keep recycling the same six coaches or hiring from within.

I am a product of an interracial relationship. My father was full blood Mexican, mother Caucasian. They were married for 55 years before my dad passed away in 2010. My mom passed away 5 years later.

I have glanced at the articles on this, saw comments on a couple of sites and some crazy stuff on Facebook.

I am going under the belief, at least publicly, that the principal might have been fooling around with one or two women. I know others feel more strongly than I do but I just don't care about someone sex life. That is between him, his wife, any other women involved and God. 
I know that employees, especially public employees, can bring disrepute to their employer even off duty and can be terminated for conduct unbecoming or demoted. I get it. If someone violates his employer's code of conduct and has to pay the price, I get that. 
I have no idea if any of the innuendo of infidelity is true. In truth I really don't care except that I would hate that a person would commit suicide over a false accusation but I am sure it has happened. 
To the point at hand. Some of the first comments I saw implied that it was not a suicide because of some reported facts about the case. I think that has pretty much been dispelled. It sure appears as though the principal took his own life although that is not the scandal that some want.
That brings us to the current topic and all the news reports which seem like they are trying to stir up a hornets nest where one likely doesn't exist (although I could think of one). 
Was the superintendent rude or overbearing in his job and approach to this situation? If so, so what? I can see if this is just an attempt to get the guy out and if he is abusive, great. Fire the bum. Is it any more than that however? That is what I can't figure out. I saw the assistant principals letter and while it might well be entirely correct, again, so what? My boss is not a nice guy. Oooookay.....................
Again, fire him. What is the scandal however? Are what appears to be dozens of articles and probably thousands of comments over an overbearing fusspot of a boss? If there really any concern for some criminal act or some duty to act? 
I don't know anyone involved and other than a news story, don't care. I feel terrible for the principal's family but from the stories that I have read, he is at least partly responsible (other than the direct fact that he probably killed himself) for the situation. Again, I hold no moral judgment against him. I see lots of comments on lots of boards about someone that will cheat on a spouse but have seen stats that tell me many of the people commenting on it, have likely done so themselves. It is wrong but who is without sin? Who is without stupid life mistakes? 
So here is the way I look at it. A guy in power gets too close to an employee and may have fooled around. It was either dealt with by a former boss or something new happened. The now jerk of a boss puts pressure on him to resign and he does. The principal is stunned and embarrassed and resigns under pressure. He is visibly shaken yet no one helps him. Unfortunately he is so distraught that he takes his own life. We find out that the superintendent is likely a cad and is a rude and abusive boss but likely broke no laws. 
Is there more to it than that? Why are there pages of articles and comments? A suicide by a public figure is big news. I get that also. Why these scandal appearing articles? OHHH.... NOW we find out that boss is rude! Wait, he is a bully! Hang on, he didn't care enough to get the guy help!
Fire him as a bad hire, keep him with a suspension or counseling or whatever but do so and move on. 
This all looks like jumping on a bad boss. Maybe he need to be publicly chastised but is it any more than that.........
In my opinion.  

Because the school district cannot put you in jail for lying.... the police can.

So the superintendent lied to the media, but told the truth to the police.. why does everyone have a problem with that?? In my opinion he was probably trying to protect Reeves reputation because he knows how the media can be.

Typical backwoods mentality...  Same mentality of Nederland.  Content with letting those kids learn in that building.  They're content with patchwork when the bond was there.  Obviously the well being of the kids are not high on the agenda...   The mentality of 'well, it was good enough for us, it's good for them'.  You went there 50 years ago.  But whatever...

I love football as much as the next guy, but anyone signing up their 6 or 7 year old  for tackle football should have their head examined.
