I'm assuming (duh) that "Whataboutism" is just a made-up term in an attempt to dismiss the real disease affectionately known as Trump Derangement Syndrome. I didn't get to the point in the video where this term was used...I didn't want to lose any more brain cells by subjecting myself to that dribble. I would have to lose a lot more brain cells to even watch an Emmies show. I'm also assuming the term came about from someone who wildly mistakes a situation in which one is exposing the obvious hypocrisy of the Liberals who show fake outrage solely based on political affiliation. The hypocrisy is apparently evident to anyone with more than two functioning brain cells, but not to Liberals...thus having to be repeated so often. When it comes to giving a pathway for Liberals to expose their true colors, there has never been anyone more brilliant than Trump. I'm not a big fan, but his brilliance is undeniable in this area. I don't think anyone can hold a candle to his brilliance in achieving the shocking meltdown by the Liberals. That is brilliance you can take to the bank. The evidence is abundant and overwhelming, and doesn't take brilliance to recognize his brilliance. I guess I should now throw in a comparison to Obama, but can't seem to use that term in the same sentence. Oh wait, yes I can. Obama is brilliant at getting Republicans elected.

I went back and tried to watch this. Where you able to sit through the whole thing? Me neither. I got all the way to the 2 minute mark...and that was enough. Does anybody find this funny? I mean, with Hillary, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and scores of others running around, the comedic material is more than abundant than the trite stuff that this wannabe concentrates on. I guess this is what happens when one is blinded by hate. Just feed them what they want to hear and ignore the real material.

I didn't watch the video, just read the comments posted. My post was a comment on them. I know nothing about Jon Oliver. I'm assuming he is some kind of wannabe comedian that has been given an undeserved platform on some Liberal network for the sole purpose of bashing Trump. I would have to do a Bing search to find out, and that seems like too much work for someone so insignificant. Trump is just the impetus for the Liberal meltdown. I'm to the point where I'm beginning to think his antics are more pointed for the sole purpose of driving the Liberals insane, instead of just being his natural character. He is brilliant at getting the Liberals to expose their true hateful and childish nature. The "Scream at the Sky" thingy was just absolute comedic gold, but somehow the "comedians" ignore these antics from the Liberals. Luckily we have FoxNews (and setxsports) to expose these acts which would otherwise get buried by the Liberal media. What do you find funny on Fox & Friends that even comes close the loony antics of the Liberals? I hear the Liberals constantly saying "Fox Lies" and "Faux News", but I never hear any examples that leads to this conclusion. Could this be just another case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, or do you really have some evidence backing your statement? (I must admit I don't really watch Fox & Friends, so I'm not really up to speed on their programming. Maybe I should start watching it now.) Do you feel the need to attempt to delegitmize Fox & Friends because Trump said it was a great show?

It sure is fun watching the self-labeled elitists having aneurysms over the Trump presidency. I never thought I would see so many undocumented psychiatrists giving their unsubstantiated gloom and doom predictions based on such faulty and/or made up (and trite) "facts". Thanks for the laugh with this link. Those Liberals sure do know how to do spot-on impressions of children who just got their candy stolen.

One of the few things California did right...they never let that mongrel out of prison. Of course they could have waited until they fried him before rescinding the death penalty. [Hidden Content]

While we are talking about Roy Moore how about

Big Girl will be back in full force the second a Republican makes the news for the wrong reasons. -
I'm hoping that same standard will apply to new tobie also (and everyone on both sides). After all, one shouldn't engage about practicing double standards while practicing double standards.

lf we can get government out of the healthcare business then we wouldn't have to worry about politicians being paid off by pharmaceutical companies.

Yep, and Trump sometimes does a good job of administering these little tidbits of sarcasm. Sometimes he goes overboard, but this one was pretty good. It's refreshing when a guy verbally hits back when insulted, instead of weaponizing the NSA to secretly wiretap you and your family in the same fashion as dictators such as Kim Jong-un.

I agree they can be useful...at times, and I also know that they can be harmful...therefore should never be used other than a novelty item. I actually have a signed and notarized document that says I will not submit to a polygraph test. I did this so that if the situation ever arose where I was asked to prove my innocence, it won't look like I'm guilty for refusing to submit to one. Since I lost it in the flood, I guess I better draw me up another one.

Scientific standards says that you eliminate extraneous variables before concluding a cause-effect relationship. This has not been done by any stretch of the imagination...and is therefore outside of the scientific standards. Then set up a meeting and I will run my little single digit experiment. Even though I don't gamble, I would be willing to bet any amount of money (or non-monetary/bragging rights) that your lie detector/operator cannot "guess" my number. Would you like to take that challenge? BTW, I've done this twice, and the machine/operator has failed to guess my number both times. (Different machines/operators and different times.)

My "thinking outside the box" regarding the environment is simply following standard scientific practices. Failure to follows these practices is what the Man-Made Global Warming nazis practice. And you would get just as good results practicing Phrenology.

They are not right more often than not. And they should never be used by law enforcement, or for any other use. I've read the research. I wrote a whole paper on them in college after doing extensive research. And I know for a fact they do not work. You can flip a coin and get just as good results. If you don't believe, read up a little on the subject. If you would like entertainment value with your research, Penn & Teller did a pretty good piece on them in their HBO series of shows called "Bullshit".
-
Wow, you really need to read up on the vast research material on polygraphs. The overwhelming and irrefutable evidence is that they do not work. Not only do they not work, they very often render the opposite results. That is, really good liars can be shown to be telling the truth, while innocent victims can be shown to be telling lies. If you would like me to demonstrate the reliability of these machines, I would be happy to do so...and you could do it too. Write down a single-digit number on a piece of paper. Then let the operator ask you any questions he wants, but has to ask if you wrote down number _ (each single digit number from 0-9). You answer no to each number, therefore, telling a lie at least one time. If the machine can actually tell when you are lying, the operator will be able to decipher which number you wrote down. I bet he can't. And this is just a silly little test to illustrate the capabilities of a machine that cannot do what it purports to do. But don't take my word for it. Please, please do some research. The material is readily available and overwhelmingly irrefutable.
-
What is a polygraph going to determine...who is the better liar?
-
I bet you think the story is true because nowhere in the headlines does it say that this was a fake story, and we all know that is as far as you read. But you are correct, nothing has changed. Liberals keep creating and spreading fake news (lies) in an attempt to paint non-Liberals, especially White males, in a disparaging light. They keep getting caught in the act, but like soulless cowards keep marching to the drum of their Liberal gods. So yeah, nothing has changed.

Shouldn't Politifact do a fact check on themselves. That site is so biased I can feel brain cells dying just clicking on the link. I can't believe you try to subject us to that propaganda. I guess the point you are trying to make is that you are incapable of discerning real news from very, very fake news.

MSNBC: Our Job is to Control What People Think
Englebert replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
You are precisely the reason why we can't have a debate on this forum. Why would anybody attempt a civil conversation when we know you are lurking to bring the conversation down to your 3rd grade level. I actually thought for a while that you were just playing the fool. It is obvious that I was wrong. Do you think this forum would be better or worse without your input? Serious question. Let's see if you can give a serious answer. -
Someone would have to spend an inordinate amount of time on this message board to notice...just saying. Why do you even attempt to trash talk? You are just so bad at it. Stick with "grab um", at least that one was funny the first 10,000 times you said it. Maybe resuscitate the "go feed your cats" line. That also typifies and clearly displays the intelligence level of the poster. Attempting the high-brow subtle jabs is just not you...which is clear to pretty much everyone.

Would you like to go through the list of women that have accused Bill of sexual harassment and even rape? Would you dare ask any one of them if they were disrespected by ol' Wild Bill? And Bill looked the American people in the eye and told a blatant lie. He disrespected all Americans. And all you have is the unsubstantiated lies fed to you by your puppet masters. Your fake outrage is not fueled by one's actions, but by the ideology one holds. That makes you a hypocrite of highest order. I know, I know, we are all just racist and you are the morally and intellectually superior one. We know the game. One of these days you might come to reality while you're kicked back on the porch of your $300,000.00 home condescendingly gazing at your brother toiling to fix the leaking roof leak of his $30,000.00 home.
-
Your analysis skills have failed you once again.
-
But Bill did a lot more than what you are outraged at Trump for. Such fake and phoney outrage. You should be ashamed. And you should be thankful to Newt Gingrinch for stifling Bill's wild spending agenda.
-
Did you mean Bill, your hero?

MSNBC: Our Job is to Control What People Think
Englebert replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
I never claimed to be. You made the statement that FoxNews is controlling people. And I just eluded to the obvious...that you are wrong, then posed the question of who was controlling you. In what crazy mixed-up world do you think that qualifies me to think I'm a journalist? Are you currently in control of your faculties. The rails don't seem to be in front of you, although it is awfully hard to tell with you on a continual basis. -
How so? Please, don't run for once and defend your statements. Bye-bye.
