  1. I don't know exactly what is in the bill, but it can't be good. Based on that I would definitely be a no vote.
  2. You wouldn't have dared make any of these suggestions last year. Money is not an issue when a Liberal is in charge. Once a Republican gets into office, you start making pathetic accusations and spouting embarrassingly atrocious and hypocritical viewpoints. But since Trump has been elected we've found that this is just typical behavior from the snowflakes.
  3. You still would have beat me because I would have picked Texas to win it all and they didn't even make the tourney.
  4. I agree, 2 would just be a rename of 3 with modifications. I figured I would separate them though because I don't think those on the Right would vote for 3 but might vote for 2, and those on the Left would not vote for 2 but might vote for 3.
  5. I did a quick Bing search and this article was first: [Hidden Content]
  6. I vaguely recall something about doctors being required to ask if you own a gun during your doctor visit...or maybe encouraging doctors to ask that question. I can't remember. There was so much I hated about the law I can't remember exactly.
  7. I kept waiting for you to throw at shot at me so I could throw one back. I started a poll on this. I'm curious to see if that topic will stay civil. Considering this is a huge issue that affects every single one of us, I'm hoping everyone will take it a little more serious.
  8. No, Trump started early in campaign saying repeal and replace. He didn't harp on the replace much until late in the campaign. Early in the campaign he would bash Obamacare heavily then say he would repeal and replace without giving any details on the replacement. It pissed me off to no end when he started this. He was never my first choice, and this was the single biggest reason (the replace part) I did not want him to win the GOP nomination.
  9. What do you think the Republicans should do with Obamacare. I realize it is hard to choose without knowing what a replacement plan would entail, or what modifications would be made to Obamacare. Choose based on the current public information (which is not much), and feel free to comment on what you would like to see as replacement items or modification items.
  10. And that is what the fight is about...what to include in the new Government run monstrosity. And yes, it is not a mystery. You keep implying that the Republicans are having trouble repealing Obamacare. Again, it is no mystery...many have decided the repeal should coincide with the replace. The repeal is settled, the replace is being debated.
  11. A standalone repeal bill would probably pass, just as it did earlier. For some mysterious reason, a few (and way too many) think that Obamacare should be replaced. But there is absolutely no disagreement on whether Obamacare should be repealed. I don't think it is possible to get this many Republicans in full agreement on any issue as they are on repeal.
  12. Because now a replacement bill is attached. None of the GOP is fighting on whether Obamacare should be repealed...they are all in agreement on that. The disagreements are purely with the replacement bill.
  13. Yeah, she ignores 99% of my questions.
  14. The Republicans just followed the Biden rule. I forget, what letter does Biden have behind his name? Next they will follow the Reid rule. I forget on him too, what letter does Reid have behind his name? It seems the Democrats can change the rules at will but are the only ones with permission to follow them.
  15. Or is it because the Administration has publically stated on multiple occasions that Saudi Arabia is not on the list because of their of cooperation with the U.S. on vetting and screening fliers. So whose sources can't be trusted now?
  16. No wonder you voted for Hillary. Corruption is encouraged as long as it is against angry old white men?
  17. What fantasyland comic book have you been reading?
  18. When you say "properly vetted", what do you mean? What are the current vetting procedures, and are they proper? If Europeans started committing terroristic acts against Americans, or even threatening to, I would have no problem with banning those. Do you really think those who support the travel ban, including me, are in support of banning Muslims because we don't like Muslims? Or could it be we are just trying to protect ourselves using common sense? Please enlightened us as to how you think we feel. If white men (or black, or any other color...or religion) started committing terroristic acts in Middle Eastern countries, I would have no problem with those countries banning travel. In fact, I would be baffled as to why they wouldn't.
  19. I could write volumes on the subject. The volume of examples has rendered this as common knowledge, sort of like 1 + 1 = 2. Just ask PamFam. He has already commented on the fact that this board is full of threads pointing out Liberal bad behavior. Just take some time to read some of the posts on here and maybe an epiphany will strike. But I have a feeling you will turn to your mental gymnastics tactic of convincing yourself that all of the examples of Liberal bad behavior is just lies or misinterpretations. You will then focus on the one or two examples of non-Liberal bad behavior and draw the equivalency line.
  20. Name the lie. Is it fun making accusations you can't backup? After all, you seem to be outraged that Trump made an accusation with no proof, so you should be livid at yourself for emulating him.
  21. No I do not. Do you feel this is a necessary question considering I've already stated on multiple occasions on multiple threads that I'm not in favor of Trumpcare or Obamacare Lite? Even though it is better than Obamacare, Trumpcare/RyanCare/Obamacare Lite is still government run socialized medicine that we all should be against.
  22. Who doesn't? Are you making the statement because you think someone believes you might want dirty and dirty water, and you feel the need to clarify your stance? Are you making this statement because you think everyone else wants dirty air and dirty water and you want to differentiate yourself from those? And who are these doctors that would allow a kid to die because he is not on Medicaid? Have you reported them to anyone?
  23. I agree with this post, but your post I responded to says something totally different.
  24. The difference between the parties is when you get caught lying. You will be ousted from the Republican party, you will be promoted in the Liberal party. And the sheer volume of lies emanating from the Liberals is breath-taking, so much so that equivalency comparisons is just laughable. And the false accusations by the Liberals that Trump and the rest of the non-Liberals "lie on a daily basis" just shows how low one can go to defend their own wretched conduct.
  25. Why do you think it is the government's job to improve your life? You should personally work on improving your life without government assistance and/or interference. The government's job is to protect individuals from other individuals/groups, not provide you a pampered lifestyle. And why do you feel the need to say you care about elderly folks and the working poor? Are you suggesting you are somehow in the minority or unique in this line of thinking? Can you name anyone that doesn't mind helping these groups? And why do feel the need to add the third statement? Do you feel unique in that line of thinking also, or do you have some stereotypical and fallacy driven mindset that anyone who wants to stop waste, fraud, and abuse in government programs believes we should leave those on government assistance out in the streets to die? I agree with your views on politicians, but for very different reasons. I believe most politicians are out to help the people, but frankly are not bright enough or don't put much thought into the real role of government. They will help people in order to garner votes, and wouldn't dare eliminate or even reduce a government program that has the slightest illusion of helping people, no matter how fraught with corruption that program might be. They don't give a second thought to the consequences of their actions. They steal from the haves to give to the havenots without ever thinking of what consequences these actions have on the working people. And I have no idea what you are trying to convey in that last sentence.
