I've came up with it.  I started saying it 13 years ago the week if Central/BH in 2006.  I guess it stuck around.  Thank me later.  😁😁🏾🏾

Lol nice, I just always saw that. Didn’t know if BH field was infested with ants or something a long time ago. Was hoping for a good story.

  2. Sterling was really bad, BH scored 7 times to Sterlings zero. Sterling didn’t even get a first down till the third quarter. The scrimmage ran four 10 min quarters with a five min half. The Rangers are in for a long year. BH looked good but it’s hard to tell considering the opponent.

Sterling needs to do whatever they can to make sure that when realignment happens They get out of 6A.

  3. 1. P.A.

    2. New Caney

    3. King wood park

    4. Porter

    5. Austin

    6. Galena Park

    7. GCM

    8. Wisdom

I think GCM will be better but the numbers are still low. I think it’s going to take time to build excitement and get that program rebuilt. Memorial will beat New Caney I think and I would give the edge to king wood park over porter. Austin will beat some one they aren’t supposed to.

  4. I hope GCM can fill up stallworth it would be nice if Baytown cared about football. However sadly this isn’t the case. Only 2,000 people out of 80,000 voted on the bond issue. Baytown just doesn’t care about the schools, or sports. Again I wish it wasn’t this way but that is all I have ever seen. The only sold out game I have seen was RSS vs lee for the 50th anniversary game.

  5. Again I don’t think they should make more than doctors but I will argue for a livable wage in today’s economy. Like in the 70,000 - 100,000 range is reasonable to me. A teacher shouldn’t have to also work at dominos or Walmart at night to support their families. Can we all agree that everyone’s jobs are important. We need welders we need doctors we need construction but we also need teachers. Ask any community that had teachers walk out what it’s like when teachers stop teaching. You don’t realize you need something till it’s gone.

Are you actually gonna compare babysitting to roughnecking?

i'll do it again since  you ignored it last time

    babysitting = $10 dollars a hour X 30 kid = $300 per hour now most teachers teach 6-7 classes so i'll say 6 hours.

    300 per hour X 6 hours = 1,800 dollars a day.

    1,800 X 180 contract days = 324,000.

I wish I was paid like a babysitter, now before you get all upset, I don't think teachers should get 300,000 a year. I do think they deserve more than 40,000 somewhere between 70-100. A teacher shouldn't have to work three jobs to make ends meet. This math was brought to you by my 3rd grade math teacher. The reading and writing comprehension from all my English teachers. Thank you.

  7. Every year cardinal backer says something along these lines. He is doing it on purpose to get attention. He won’t change his mind even when facts are presented with documentation. I believe last years insult to teachers was that all teachers are over paid baby sitters.

Someone is lonely and just wants attention from people online.

I agree. I never pretended otherwise. Not sure why you implied that.

Nepotism is at epedemic levels in some places. I could tell you stories, but I won't, LOL.

Didn’t mean to imply you didn’t EC, Was just adding my thoughts to the situation. People get upset about Westerberg and his wife and son having jobs in the same district and I was just trying to say it’s not uncommon it happens all the time.

Same about the stories some of these plant managers are crazy lol

Well, TW aside, the real "salary" emcompasses more than just the $$ paid out to a  coach. You have to look at the whole package, much of which might be beyond the quick glance of the general public.

Does the spouse of the hire get handed a high paying ISD job? Son(s) hired and set up? Daughter(s)? Brother(s) Close freinds? Perks?

Lets be real, so much goes on behind the scenes in so many districts. There is AMPLE evidence if anyone looks deeper in most cases. I have seen a whole lot through the years in SETX.

I agree, but this doesn't happen only in High School Football, lets not pretend managers don't hire their buddies and family first, often over more qualified people. I would say this happens in almost every industry. I think this is just normal in the world we live in. People in management will hire people they trust Ie family and friends. That's why when the manager is fired in most business's you have to clean house so the new manager can bring in their people.

It will be tough to repeat in all of these areas, but look to compete in most.
