  9. HF's JV looked very rusty and young, once they knock the rust loose and get some quality practice time, I think they are going to be fine. The Varsity on the other hand looked pretty good in there scrimmage against PA Memorial, had some good pitching & bats.
  10. 02-05-18 - HF @ PA Memorial JV at 4:30 / Varsity at 6:30 02-08-18 - HF @ KELLY JV at 4:30 / Varsity at 6:30
  11. Does any one know when HF will have tryout's for the upcoming 2018 BB Season?
  12. This was truly an entertaining game... these two teams battled back and forth all night. I thought Kelly was going to pull ahead in the 3rd qtr, but HF defense rose up and made a key stop that allowed HF to get back in it and win it. HF's coaches finally unleashed #24 and he pounded the rock all night, not sure of his stats but they had to be impressive. Good Luck to both teams this week, especially the Horns as they got WOS.
  13. Yup... another poor performance from the Horns and the coaching staff... they are just really not any good right now; Anahuac kicked that butt from start to finish. I did not think the Horns could play any worse than they did against Buna... turns out I was wrong. I knew coming into the season that HF had a tough schedule, I was hoping for at least a .500 season. I hate to say it folks, unless HF starts playing better they just might not win another game this season.
  14. Buna just gave HF a good old fashion butt whipping; HF's Offensive and Defensive lines got man handled. The Horns just played flat the whole game and when we did something good we would turn around and shoot ourselves in the foot. Heck even the HF fan base was not up for the game like they were for Lumberton & EC. Maybe the Horns are little overrated and Buna was underrated? I would like to think the Horns were just tired and weren't used to being back in school; especially after the emotional high they just came off of from beating EC. That is what you get with a young team; I think HF has like 6-7 Soph & 1 Fresh starting on offense and defense. Good luck to both squads this week.
  15. Talk about a great game... I thought both squads did really well. This was one of the most entertaining and hard hitting games I have seen in a while. Good luck to both Teams this week. Go Horns !!!
  16. Yup... I think the game will be more like last years with the winning team being who ever has the ball last. HF is much more disciplined and mature then last year, they keep playing until the last second ticks off the clock. As is in the recent past EC is probably the better team overall but this is a rivalry game so anything can happen, I will take the Horns in an upset: HF - 31 EC - 28 GO HORNS !!!!!
  17. Yup... this was a great game, HF is quite a bit better than last year; we should be able to get a few more victories this year. That RB from Lumberton was a hoss with some speed, we just could not contain him in the second half. Overall it seemed to be a pretty clean game with very few penalties and turn overs which for the first game is saying something about both teams. Good luck to both squads this week.
  18. Sounded like a good scrimmage for all 3 squads... glad they got it in before all of the bad weather hit.
  19. Good deal... that is what I wanted to know; thanks for the insight.
  20. drich... do the Horns looked improved from last year? They have real tough schedule again this year, I am hoping for more than just one victory.
  21. Yup I will be there... hopefully we can give the Cards a better contest than last year
  22. True the visitors seating does suck... hey who really wants to accommodate their visitors... that is why it is called "home field advantage", not that helped us any last year.
  23. Hey Brain Surgeon your right and I don't need any. Come to HF on a home game night and you will see plenty.
  24. Wow... our first two scrimmages and first two regular season games are away; going to be a while before the Horns get to play in front of the Home fans.
