  1. I'm not bro. I got some scoop on Canadian new QB - Douthitt  6'3 180 (gun slinger) and they return a bunch of them receivers, along with that 6'7 TE from last year....big target but most importantly that line which features returning center and two tackles.

It will take a lot of speed to beat them, which you prolly right - they met get that against childress or Eastland.

if not mistaken, they have a top receiver returningand a few other starters, but QB is gone

yeah...I seen them in person this past year at reliant and I told lil' Tex that they would win 3a DII hands down last year because of how physical they were but they'll definitely have to prove to a lot of people they can match the speed at this next level. they won't run into any body that can stop them, until Game # 16

  3. For those who know me, know that I am very critical of southeast Texas teams and how they perform against elite programs throughout the state. I'm on record for giving WO-S elite status as the only true southeast Texas team with such regard, outside of Katy (geographically). As for Newton, SETX on this site, but I consider East Texas, but that's besides the point.

WO-S will in my opinion probably have a season like no other prior to this year. Last year, I made a statement about the Stangs, in which I said that nobody would play them to within 20 points (after the Jasper game) --- all the way thru state. I was wrong, as Cuero was 13 and Celina was 19.....if I remember correctly. Neverthless, these young guns really showed out the rest of the way.

This year, I will go a step further in that I do not believe anybody will play (starting in District) to within 30 points ---all the way to the state championship game vs. Gilmer (which will be a 10-14 point WO-S victory.

Not competitive enough for someone who is accustomed to the level of competition that Williams is. You can only beat Anahuac by 30 so many times. Especially when the boys game is tipping off and you are cranking the bus up to take the girls home.

I do agree but I also think there's something else going on here. If you are familiar with Big Brother, this feels awfully a lot like a backdoor.

If I am AD anywhere in the area and specifically a place like Ktz where basketball is premier and I am not calling the shots on the entire coaching staff, we're going to have a problem. Maybe I am missing something.......

  5. I'm not sure I understand why so many want Joubert to hand over his program to him?

Hancock has the upper hand if "anyone" to assume the role of Head BBall coach, once Joubert does walk away.

But i'm thinking Joubert does not walk away from basketball, until he walks away from Kountze altogether.

    Just my two cents.

That would be good for LaMarque. All I've heard for the past few years is that the Cougars weren't relevant anymore. It sucks to see traditional powerhouses go through that.
