    1. Crosby (Playoffs: 2nd round loss)

    2. Barbers Hill (Playoffs: If they don't lose in the 2nd Round, they'll probably lose in the 3rd.)

    3. Dayton (Playoffs: 3rd Round loss)

    4. Kingwood Park (Playoffs: One and done)

    5. New Caney

    6. Humble

    7. Porter

    8. Splendora

    9. Caney Creek

Crosby runs away with this district. BH and Dayton battle for 2nd, and for the higher D2 seed in the playoffs. Last spot is a 3-way race between KP, New Caney, and Humble, with the possibility of KP/Humble being a play-in game. Porter may have some surprises, but I don't think this is their year. The two newcomers will stay in the cellar.

Play-in game ? You mean point differential ?

  2. No doubt. That Buna team is not that good. Perhaps a playoff team but you still got to beat the champ to be the champ. EC going to be tough, Ktz will be back to make a run as they "always" do. And look for a scrappy Hardin team to make a run at a playoff spot, only lost 1 senior, with a new coach that was a star for Joubert back in the early mid 2000's.

I'm hoping they hire the coach u are talking about . We just voted in new school board members . I heard rumors they were getting rid of old coach they did also heard they wanted to get rid off superintendent they did . I wonder who's next on their list . Just glad we got new stadium before it was to late.

what old coach did "they" get rid of ?

Gene' pool has certainly helped alot of schools along w/few xfers, huge list every year of coaching opportunities elsewhere doesn't always mean they had a good measure of speed, size, talent which to work with, smh in Texas lately more coaching jobs available than hire on's for Exxon-Mobil Baytown Tx.Peeps have gotten way to comfortable w/just making the playoffs nowadays.Few are already buying playoff shirts for 2016,smh w/o playing 1 game:)

    +1

I am tired of hearing people say "hopefully we can win a couple district games and squeeze into the playoffs". When did that become the standard and accepted ? There are quite a few people on here and elsewhere that I have talked to that say "BH will not be very competitive or it's going to take a while....I'm telling you now, they are about to buy wins. They've got a tradition over there that trends upward and like the field of dreams "If you build it, they will come" and they will. He (Westerburg) will see to it that they come and when they do, everybody else needs to grab pen and paper and make note. Money is not in short supply on the ant mound and things are about to take a big turn over west of the Trinity river.  Was at a playoff game last year and seen about 20 kids (ages 10-14) for NC and buddy and I looked at each other and said -welp, future is bright in NC. feel sorry for the splendoras and caney creeks and porters of the world. Dayton, Crosby, bH, KP are all making steps in right direction but y'all keep a close eye on BH.....

HJ could and should make the playoffs. They lost some close ones last year and had a lot of injuries.  The coaching situation is fine but sure can't replace Moreaux.  That's a tough loss.  Nevertheless those good athletes over there that are capable of doing big things need to trust in the system and get the job done.  If HJ doesn't make the playoffs I think people will have a reason to gripe.

And they'll be griping because HJ is not making the playoffs this year.

Let's not kid ourselves, they're transferring because of Briles. They're transferring because they signed with a program that had a chance to win championships, and they are reporting to a program that has a chance to sit at the bottom of the Big 12 for a long time. Regardless of their motivation, today's Baylor is not the Baylor they committed to.

In SEC terms, they went from Alabama to Vanderbilt in 2.3 seconds. LOL
