Agreed great coaches can get a team to focus, and play hard. Nederland has been and will be a contender for the playoffs at the end of the season. If it comes down to a victory over PNG to make it, somehow Nederland almost always seems to find a way. All of us PNG fans are well aware of their coaches and team strengths. Watch out for this team to improve.

There are no gimme games. PNG must continue to play good defense & be able to run the ball against Vidor. Otherwise, it could be a long night for my Indians. Play every play 100% as if it is your last & then, no matter the outcome, you can have total pride in your effort. That goes for the Indians & The Pirates. I am looking forward to a great game.

This should be a great game. Field position will be a key. The team with fewest turnovers with the edge. The team able to run the ball on offense should control the tempo & the points scored. Wish I could be there. I do not have a favorite in this one! Pray no one gets hurt & game is extremely competitive.

You are right rankings do have a great meaningful place in our society, in someone's mind on a piece of paper. So I stand corrected they do mean something, the cost of a thought, and a piece of paper. However, in application of the best team in any given situation during real football games, they still mean absolutely nothing! My 4th post should make it clear where I stand.
