It will come down to the run. If Silsbee can run freely & stop PNG from running, Tigers win. If PNG can run the ball, and stop the Tigers from running all over, Indians win. PNG QB Bost will be an important factor. If he gets in trouble, he can run. If his passing is on target, he can kill you with quick short passes. I know, for a fact, that this game will benefit both teams, going farther into the season. READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!

Love having the opportunity to scrimmage WOS speed/ Helps see what we have coming in district & great test for our defense. Would be great to play them in pre-season game again. If scrimmage is all we can get, PNG will gladly take it. Nothing but respect for those Mustangs.

That is the good thing about watching him in person, the first time. Amazing & unbelievable in real life. Watching the highlight reels just don't do him justice. Replays are for study of great plays & players, his reputation & actions took everyone else to school. No way to explain him, studying his replays, or not. On to a new era of PNG Indian Football!!! PNG can just post the video highlights on our big scoreboard screen, for everyone to watch & appreciate. That way no one-sided IPad advantage. 😊 lol

Agreed! I am glad PNG plays Silsbee, Huntsville & Tomball in pre-season. The defensive stops against these teams will tell the tale of how district will go. It will also give our offense a great challenge to get ready for the season. I am so ready for football.!!!

I think you are right on the money with Nederland finishing first in district. Nederland finds ways to win & always has good defense. I can tell you for a fact that BH will be tough again, great team & coach. The Indians will have a QB this year (Bost) who is not only quick, but also is 4 times a stronger armed passer than Roschon Johnson ever dreamed of being. Mark that down, PNG will, in no way, be weak at the quarterback position. The Indians need to find a defense. Lee, Crosby, Santa Fe can surprise anyone, at anytime. This is a strong district, top to bottom. I have nothing but respect for these teams. I am looking forward to a great season.
