I have explained before, I attended my first PNG Game when I was 9 months old. Thus png9mon is my site moniker.

My Dad used to say.: "Play Every Play, Like It's The Last Play, You'll Ever Play, 'Cause, What The Heck, you Had Too Make The Trip Anyway!!!😄 Hoping for a great competitive game.🏈

PNG has not stopped the run all year. If that changes this game, it will be appreciated, but highly doubtful. That said, PNG can go no huddle , spread the field short option run & passing attack all night, if Bost is sharp. Crosby can strike fast & quick, or if need be, chew up the clock. Avoiding turnovers is a must for either team to win. If PNG & Crosby both move the ball the game can stay close. I believe Crosby will take the game by 20 if no surprises. Turnovers can turnover that score quickly. Just praying for a clean injury free game going through the rest of district.

Now that we all agree that a Traditional Color Change is in order, ditch the grey (also we need those zig zag designs back) aka awesome looking uniform designs from the past!, lets talk football. PNG must take no one lightly, or this team is bound to fall in a weird upset. We need an all out total offense & defense effort tonight. Especially having to go to Crosby next week. Execute tonight, build skill, confidence & change the defense around to see what works. Otherwise we will struggle the rest of district, regardless of which teams we have left to play. However, let me reiterate, GOT TO LOVE THOSE INDIANS!!! I have now for 55 years worth of pride & tradition!!!🏈

Exactly right. 1) Use all of the the personnel you have to the advantage of the defense. 2) Run the right scheme on defense with those players. 3) PNG must have speed & athleticism on defense, as well as offense, to be successful.

Even playing mistake free on offense & special teams, anyone can beat PNG if they can find a way to run the football. Indians have been ineffective in the run defense. Must wrap up tackles!!!

This game comes down to defense pressuring the QB. If either team has time to throw they can pick the defenses apart. PNG must run the football successfully to set-up the pass, if not, Indians are in trouble. However, remember Bost can run! Barbers Hill can score quickly if they are executing the offense. PNG must run on offense & slow down the game. I truly believe this one can go either way. Praying for no injuries to either team for remainder of district.🙏🏈

The first thing to remember is to not take any team lightly. PNG needs to play every game, and for that matter every play, like it is the last of the season. Only way to win big, on a regular basis, is too give all you have, all the time!!! Coach Ethridge drilled that into the heads of his players during his tenure at PNG. Defense needs to make tackles, period!!! Offense needs to execute plays, period!!! If you give all you have, no excuses need to be made, Win or Lose!!!

I Love How Discussions of Other Games Always Turn Back To PNG. Even negative publicity, is publicity. 😁 That said. Memorial will execute passing game well. Also, defense will step up for a victory over United!!!

Faircloth will have team ready. Just need to avoid turnovers. Indians must work on short passing game & running plays. PNG must control the football & show we have that capability. If we execute game plan, Indians over Broncos by 3 scores. If PNG gets turnover happy, Who Knows? NACHOS SOUND GREAT!!!

That's why I said OK that's fine. Agreed parents should get to see their kids. Even more agree that when your kid is born, in Port Neches, or Groves, go get season football tickets. Trade up every year. If the kid ends up not participating in High School, sale them. It is the season ticket holders that pay for the program. It is the long term season ticket holders that have "ALWAYS" paid for the program. I have attended the games for 55 years. I have had no children participate. All of the kids, over the years, are my kids. So me missing games, for those 1 or 2 year supportive parents, is sad to me. However, I agree, this year it was handled in a strange way. Consequently, it was a strange year.

Yeah is'nt that ticket organization great. Oh, sorry ticket disorganization. Took tickets away from season ticket holders, gave them to parents of participants & high school students. OK that's fine. I made other plans for Friday knowing I would not have Mid County Madness tickets. Then all of a sudden, oh wait, we have tickets for season ticket holders now. I am beyond frustrated & have given my word to help someone for Friday!!! Just life in 2020!!! Weird year!!!

No smack talking, because there is no way I can be at the game! And, no, watching on internet, or listening on radio is, in no way, the same thing. PNG will execute offense, score points & compete, as usual. Nederland will put up points, play defense & compete , as usual. That is as excited as I can get without season ticket holder access to tickets. This is the first MCM game I will have missed in 55 years. The only guarantee I can make, on the outcome of this one, is that my presence at the game will not be a factor. May God bless both teams & keep everyone injury free!!!👍
