Though only New Concession Stands, Bathrooms & Field Turf were approved by bond. That is all a one summer job, unless someone is extremely disorganized, that is arranging the improvements. Is there more ? -

Last week receiver at end of game turned to sideline & lost his footing, leaving the defender the only one able to catch that throw. That does not mean he would have caught the ball, but I agree that the receivers do not need all of the blame. There have been plenty of poor passes, missed tackles & injuries across the board for the Indians this year. Having O-Line injuries have cost us big this year. However, be happy, we are still going to the playoffs despite having all of the negative situations PNG has faced this season. LOVE ME SOME INDIAN FOOTBALL!!! -

The whole atmosphere at Bulldog Stadium is the Dogs. You have to be prepared to come into that facility mentally, as well as being prepared to play against the Bulldog Football team physically. It is truly an aura of dream like competition. Due mainly to the quality of the stadium being a nightmare!π -

At least we have some mystery on our visitors side. It is no mystery that the teeny tiny 15" wide seats on the Nederland visitors side will be waiting for the poor Sardine Packed Fan Base of the Indian Nation. But I digress, we can call the visitors seating wackyness a draw. -

Back & Forth Banter is part of the fun this week. Praying all of the football players, on both teams be safe from injury. Go Indians!!! -

As I said, both teams have to suffer, I mean play on it. Thank God that will end soon. By the way, PNG can't stay home, it is a scheduled rivalry football game, am I right. If you don't like that, don't show up to play the Indians. Oh by the way, the statement I just made about ya'll not showing up, is just about as unnecessary as the comment you made about us not showing up if we don't like the field, I mean swimming pool/cow pasture. Here's a thought. If you DO like that mud pit you call a field, it is more likely that you have a problem, than I do. -

I think the problem is it happens to be a mud field, with a little grass on it. I have watched games played on that field where it has not rained for 2 weeks & it still has mud on it. I understand watering the grass, but come on. I will watch the game, I will see all of the boys, on both teams, play there best, having to deal with those field conditions. Sadly, I have seen outside forces like weather, referees & yes, field conditions, cause the obviously better team, be it PNG, or Nederland, in different games over the years, to not be unable to use all of their resources. So, more power to you Bulldogs for the grass/mud field. We will play the best we can on it. We will be even more happy when it has turf, not grass, on it. Simply my honest opinion. Take it as you please. -

I think he meant that it is unfortunate that the athletes individual abilities are hampered by the wet, flooded, muddy turf. Players are slowed down, unable to make good cuts & angles etc..., that is why he said we need to go early & see what the footing is like. We know there will be some slippin' & a slidin" all over the place Friday Night, but no worries. I am sure we will have some rescue boats & life preservers available for the truly wet parts of the field.πππ -

Just understanding that, at some point, adults, administrators & goodness gracious, parents should know that their kids do not need to coat the stands in powder, to celebrate their team. βΊοΈ -

Born & raised in Groves, TX. Attended my first football game in September, 1965 when I was 9 months old. I have missed 4 PNG football games, total, since the day I was born. There was a painting incident at Nederland High School in 1982, that I may, in some small way, have been a part of...Hmmm, but I am no transplant. I also work in the medical field & know the health risks of the pansy powder shower, I speak from experience,. I agree kids can have fun, but do it without destroying the people who are around you regarding their health & ability to enjoy the game. Once again, just a little common sense should kick-in to your minds. -

You are right, speed is the wrong word, on that Nederland cow pasture, it is wallowing through the sludge, no speed involved. -

None of the things I did , and I do say I did, during this rivalry in the early 80s made anyone else sick, nor denied them the ability to watch the game because of that illness. The pansy powder shower does exactly that & is 100% wrong. Water guns, balloons, heck even noisemakers are better than a substance that can permanently damage your lungs. C'mon people, a little common sense & a lot more maturity is in order here. -

Are we talking spiritual interaction, intervention or meta-physical vs. spiritual speed, or maybe that is another discussion!π -

Everything is in the past. last year, year before, in the past. So either all of the PNG/Nederland games count, or none of them do! -

Or maybe Nederland could win 15 years in a row! Wait, scratch that idea. Pardon me, my mistake, that was Port Neches-Groves that did that! NEVER MIND!!! -

Had you been raised properly, I mean of course as an Indian Fan, you would know that the entire devoted Indian Nation from Port Neches-Groves , plays spiritually in every game. I was an honor student, by the way, I always paid attention in class!!! I am turning 55 years old, and the Nederland game on Friday night will be my 600th Port Neches-Groves Football game, that I have attended, since the day I was born. No need to worry about me. I am just worried about our players who can't swim!!!π
