While we are on the subject of stadiums. I would at least like to see one game at UT’s upgraded stadium. CHS played at one playoff worthy venue (FCU) in two years. It’s nice to get the W wherever but its even nicer to see the replays on the jumbotron.

If I remember correctly BH was down 21-0 before they got started. FBM speed advantage was on full display coming out the gate. However BH was as tough as they come last year. I think the difference ended up being that BH had been in tough games all year and FBM had not. Once BH weathered the initial storm they just were more physical and battle tested and FBM fell apart including the coach. I expect them to be better this year with the new schedule. They should have the speed advantage in this region and hopefully for them the new schedule will humble them. With all that being said. 1)FBM 2) Texas City 3) PNG 4) Dayton

Talked to Coach P he said we were definitely going. Also said that we’re actually under the D1 cutoff by about 30 kids. But they only go by the snapshot.

Gotta give LH their credit and take back my comments about Prieto. LH defense was for real did a damn good job against that explosive offense from SOC. Congrats to both teams on great season.

Should have just run Fontenot. The read option doesn’t work if the defense doesn’t think the RB is a threat.

Idk why we couldn’t run a HB dive in the first half of the game. QB draw after QB draw . Prieto made the offense super predictable tonight. I still think he’s the best coach to ever do it at Crosby. But he dropped the ball tonight and forgot the rule of KISS

Agree. The front 7 does look a little more stout.

I could be wrong but LH Slot-T looks a lil bit more predictable this year. Maybe the false start penalties made them run it a lil slower against AH. #21 seems to be the guy for them this year. Just from the one game I watched I think last years team was better across the board. Still got to stop the Slot-T tho. AH had experience with Slot-T teams and still couldn't get the job done.

I think it was you or maybe border town that went off after my assessment last year. Calling out all the D1 guys yall had. And asked what were we gonna do when we had to handle Smith in the passing game. I'm sticking by my assessment like I did last yr. Them boys will get cooked in press man. Our OL is probably the second smallest in the district but we in that weight room at CHS. Last year yall had a bunch of beef on the OL but we completely shut down your run game. And kept the QB under pressure. Hopefully this is just a silly rumor about the kids grades because I don't wanna hear these excuses after this year. And even if it ain't a rumor it won't be those D1 guys because you gotta have D1 grades to get D1 offers

Yeah that Carthage lie just keeps on growing. Had 5 OL out two RB's and the middle linebacker got pregnant. And none of them recovered because they had the same team still playing

I know one thing they are not going to play press man all night against us like they did PNG. Somebody getting cooked. I trust Crosby coaching staff to find ways to exploit that defense and I trust Crosby defense to make some stops. They won't have the success Manvel and Consol had running the ball. I'm thinking something like "Hagler vs Hearns" with Crosby being Hagler. Starts out as a brawl but ends in a emphatic KO
