Really was a good game neither team could  get anything going at the plate. Pitchers held them in check. Walk ,stolen base and a 2 strike hit right over 2nd base ...and that's the ball game

Only two districts in 4A Region 3 to sweep last week. Feel like our locals have a good shot this week against a traditionally strong district northwest of Houston.

The Silsbee Tigers and the Navasota Rattlers will play a 3 game series in the Area round of the Texas State Baseball Playoffs. Starting Thursday night at 7 and Friday night at 7 followed by a third Saturday at 1:30 if necessary. All games will be played at Humble High School.

For my own health reasons  A insurance run here and there would be nice .. Eventually I would like to watch the game sitting down!!!!

That makes perfect sense... We actually practice a play similar to that.  Both Comstock and Sundgren did a great job!  Classic pitchers duel!! Let's finish Tigers!!

This is True anything can happen combined with Tarkington being the only team that beat Huffman in their District.  I just feel that 24-4A is so competitive that it makes our teams stronger.  IMO

A 1 gamer ... going out on a limb and taking LCM 7-5... Their hitting has been hot lately and if pitching can keep it close I will take LCM

Should help Silsbee in the fact that Tarkington had to win two on Monday night. Will have to win 4 games in a week to advance. That's tough to do, don't care who you are.

Don't know what you're referring to, but I do know that you've always been helpful to me, and I appreciate all the work you do on this Forum!
And we've all posted something occasionally that we might regret.

Come on people grow up!!  We all have said things that might be offensive to someone else.  There are several thousand personalities and different views on this site. I don't know the details of what happened but I highly doubt an apology was necessary to start with.  Do not let the view of a few people define how much the rest of us appreciate what you do for the site.  If anyone is allowed to have an off opinion or a off day then its this guy!   (and Grad of course)!!

Besides what's fun about a site like this if you can't give each other a hard time.  Sure there may always be someone that gets their panties in a wad, just grow up or give I right back!!

How many of these kids playing select pick up a ball twice a week to throw while at practice, and every other weekend to play? Then don't pick up a ball the rest of the days. That's most likely playing catch 10 times in 30 days, and 2 times a month pitching. That's no way to keep an arm in shape, and on top of that, how many of them actually do arm care to help protect their arms? There's more to blame than throwing too many pitches in an outing in my opinion.....and I definitely don't condone over throwing a kid just to win a game.
