You troll almost every thread that has to do with Silsbee in every sport. Even when games or the subject has nothing to do with Bridge City, you chime in with your negative Silsbee comments and of course you have to throw in your classic "Smoketown" even though no one on the thread has referred to Silsbee as such. You obviously have a thing against Silsbee, Do not think for one second that this thread is not about you, because IT IS!!! So, just like Rake asked AAW to try to be more positive. I am personally going to ask you to do the same, and if you can not, then stay off Silsbee threads that have nothing to do with Bridge City. If non of that works, WOSgrad you should do the right thing and BLOCK HIM FROM THE SITE!!!

If true #1's go up against each other, then game 1 will be a toss-up. Low scoring and 1 or 2 run ball game. Regardless of 1st game outcome, Silsbee advances. Just too many bats and too many quality arms.

Outside of the locals.... very interested to see the Taylor vs Robinson series results. That should tell us a lot about Robinson. Taylor is a quality team and swept La Grange in Bi-district.

What a great game to watch. Great pitching, with one exception for both sides, great defense, in game adjustments...etc. By far the best game I have seen JD throw, had great command of all his pitches. Trevis battled all night and made huge pitches when he needed them, just as he has time and time again for those of us who have had the privilege of watching him for the last three years. Hats off to both teams!!! Silsbee will be just fine... lost 4 games all year by a total of 4 runs. Said it all along... Games 1 & 2 are not near as important as the coin toss and games 3,4 & 5!! Hoping for an all SETX regional final!!! Good luck to all D22 teams! Let's go represent!!!!

I hear ya!!! But in what you expect to be a close game... how willing are you to give them a couple of baserunners to get your message across. The kid that got HBP.... that was a strike, and when our catcher stopped the game and got Nelson to talk to umpire. The kid's rear foot was completely behind the plate. I just don't like doing away with the inside line of the batter's box, never have... think it takes away from the game. To me it makes it a call very few umpires will make. There are three lines that are important.... front, back and inside. Want to do away with a line to save chalk.... do away with the outside line. If a batter wants to stand 3 1/2 feet away from the plate, let him... does not effect pitch calling one bit!! Unless he is Happy Gilmore, it only hurts him not the other team. JMHO

One other thing that has not been said. To say BC was crowding the plate is a mild understatement. Note to Nelson: April 11th... Chalk the inside line of the batters box!!!
