I could go further back. Silsbee has had many football players at the D1 level. Anyway back to topic. Glad to hear the athletes are buying into the new staff, and are working hard

Where my oldest son played HS ball. They did the same thing in off-season and summer workouts. (Not a big deal)

We usually get along on here, but I have to ask why are you belittling the Silsbee players and coaches by saying "they gave up"? We know who the best team was this past season, but the great thing about HS football, is there is always another season. We all know the Mustangs will be very formidable again this upcoming season, but to say Silsbee does not have a shot is rediculous. The Tigers will have a new coaching staff in place and hopefully the players will step up and make another deep run into the playoffs.

Thanks for posting the list. There are some good coaches on that list.
