Most HC coaches will bring other coaches with them Change can be a good thing. Kids and community need to support Coach Smith and the other coaches.

Saw Yates play 4 games in Lufkin tourney. They were not nearly as strong as they have been in the past. I do not know who they are losing or what they have coming back, but I can tell you they would not have beat Silsbee.

Great heart shown by Silsbee. Hats off to those young men from coming back from 17 down. Proud of the Tigers!!! You will be back. Thanks to the Seniors. Prayers for Devon.

Just watched some video of Cy Ranch offense. You are correct on the offense. I noticed there was not very many bubble screens being called. He does like those intermediate routes and QB draws

I don't know. It would have been interesting to see who had applied. I am really surprised they did not hire from within. The only outsider in my lifetime they hired was Lidney Thompson in the early 80's, and that did not workout so well.
