I gotta know! So when  our #86 was hurt last night and literally had to be carried off field and out of stadium by 2 people is that standard protocol for all visiting teams and bridge city? I still can't believe a cart of some kind and/or a stretcher wasn't available to assist.  Freaking sad !

Your trainer stood the player up and tried to get him walk it off. It was no one's choice but the Jasper coaches and trainers. If they would have asked for a cart or stretcher I am very sure it would have been provided.

Actually, it was at least two who decided that the delay had gone on too long that this game wasn't worth getting their kids hurt for.  Both Barbay and Babin were at their current positions when this game was scheduled two years ago.  If someone didn't want to play it, they wouldn't have sheduled it.

Cancelled non-district games are generally not rescheduled due to that fact that it takes what at this point is valuable practice time.  Anyone who dares to suggest otherwise doesn't know (or care) too much about high school football.

So playing Saturday was not a viable option? Asking for a friend.....lol

The exception is that WE all pay teachers' salaries.  I choose who to buy a car from.  I choose which doctor to see.  I decide where to shop for groceries. Those people EARN my business.  Teachers just show up, work a part time gig, and demand more money from the people who didn't even hire them.

It's kinda like when politicians get elected and then give themselves raises.  They knew the salary when they ran for office.  Teachers knew what to expect, but they preferred a 8-3:30, M-F, seasonal job that offers benefits and an early retirement.  Great.  So you got what you wanted, stop complaining.

Like I said... take two weeks off per year like the rest of us... until then you don't have a full-time job, so stop crying that you don't make as much money as the people who chose career paths that require full-time participation.

Early retirement? Part Time? Get out of here.... Again... Over opinionated.... You know zero about the teaching profession.

I know Griff and Landry very well and from what I know they have a great relationship.   I would very seriously doubt that Griff turned them in.  He would not have any clue that the kid had played too many games.  He is too busy worrying about his own team.  The only people who could know that this happened would be BC coaches or fans that have been to all of the games.  No one else has a clue how many games any kid has played on varsity and on JV.  I would put all of my money on someone in RED being the person who turned the violation in.  It could have even been Landry if he realized he made the mistake.

I'll take that bet!!!!!!!! How much are we talking about? lol
