Teams like PNG are the ones who Crosby has dominated the last couple of years. We're 23-4 the last two season and all 4 losses are to teams that could run the ball and play defense like Elgin, Cedar Park, Summer Creek and King. PNG can't run the ball or play defense and they certainly don't have the talent levels the other 4 teams. Throw in the fact that Crosby has a far superior talent level and coaching staff and you're probably going to get a bad result. 
Crosby is one of the worst matchup a for PNG in the entire state, PNG would be one of our best. Take that for what it's worth. 

​not sure if having 1 district loss gets you a 4th place finish/seed (sarcasm), unless the unthinkable happens and its a 4way tie with all 4 having one loss and a coin flip is involved.

Looks like the way Crosby has manhandled in both sports they need a strong candidate from outside the mighty triangle region.

You're right on the recruiting front. Shaw got his UT offer pulled while DSC and Baldwin are blowing up. It's probably not a popular opinion but playing at a bigger school against better players and mostly better coaching is what recruiters want to see rather than you dominating inferior competition. You also get to excel in the role you'll probably be playing in college instead of going both ways trying to carry a team like great players do at lower levels. While you get some exposure from making a title run at WOS, you get a lot more playing in the Spring district like DSC or the Cypress district like Baldwin even though Baldwin's team will be pretty bad. He'll get more looks in practice this Spring than he probably would've the whole year at WOS. Not mention Baldwin getting to live in Cypress vs Orange.

Over the past five games ( 4 playoff games and 1 playoff seeding game) I'd be willing to bet no one is as en fuego (on fire) as the catcher from Crosby:

I'm really enjoying this town of Crosby and seeing how beating Dayton really inspires folks. The fans were awesome last night with their "Cougar Alert" siren. You can tell the atmosphere with the football and baseball around here is superior to most oh and the product not too shabby as well. Looks like another deep run is in store for this blue collar community...

Hey Coog02, from the buzz about football in January in this town I can see where the jealousy lies. Haters gonna hate but when the haters do not have a recent winning program to back, then it just makes their efforts and arguments look petty. SMDH...

Definitely with the technology available in the bigger venue some form of replay should be involved to uphold the integrity of the game and allow a fair outcome for all these young men who have worked so hard to get to that point. Watching on TV several calls were so obvious that an instant replay could have been quick and decisive.

Yes sir I'm new to these parts from Denham Springs Louisiana and moved to Crosby and like the name Lumberton. Plus they have a cool mascot:)
