I"ll check at one of the four newly established Post Offices in Crosby due to the present influx of residents. At that height and weight he may need to grow 4 or 5 " and put on another 20#'s but it's doable. Social media, Vype, the Hou Chronicle, Dave Campbell, the coaching staff, administrators and you name whomever else is turning the little town once only known for the "Stomp" (an old dancehall but aptly named for how Crosby athletics treats others) into a Mecca for football. Looks like we won't have the same problem as Odessa P had when the oil dried up and everyone vacated, there's plenty of oil here....

Are you boys serious bringing JH Gentry Mustang smack talk to an elite Crosby Cougar thread. At Crosby we use a MLB type farm system approach. The youngsters get their feet wet learning about Code Red and when the time is right they advance through the franchise. Every once in a while a Correra (Sqwirl Williams) comes thru and bypasses the process. By the time these boys are freshmen graduates they are darn near ready to walk out that prestigious Cougar tunnel with sledgehammer in hand to thrash their next opponent so they could careless how they got beat by a Danny Botkin led 8th grade prep squad!!

Just rebutting the "recent" what have u done for me lately posts. Remember I don't care too much for past regime history only the present, but I do know that when my kids squad beat Nederland in the first round twice then ran into a Dobbins led Montgomery team one year and a Pearland Dawson team the next they were poised for deep runs. 

I love it.  How many more deep have they been. Is that there entire playoff history?

Well, we've been more relevant that Ned for a while now. Like I said, we've been the 2nd best 5A program in SETX for about 10 years. ONLY Dayton has more wins, playoff wins, district wins, district win percentage, and a higher overall win percentage. Not sure what criteria you're using to determine relevance but this is actually the third straight year we've been the most relevant 5A program in the area. I think you're actually saying Nederland has been less relevant than Crosby lately, so at least we agree on that. 

Just left practice for the first padded day. SETX is in serious trouble.

it's a term men use in the locker room that means they gonna destroy and wreck shop this year once one of them 22-5A schools backs into their perennial first round beat down!!

We got 3 if anyone is interested.... Came close on 3 more.... So I guess we played on that good ground a few times....... I never had a C on my Jersey.. But if I could have chose I would have rathered a S...... But I guess this is kinda starting to sound like a "look what I got post"...... But I will say.... LHS could play some ball, from, BJ, to Stephen, to Emmanuel, and Derek Giron, a lil Terry Miller, throw in some Shanderrick Charles... And I think there was a guy by the name of LiL...... Joe..... But.  I'm not remembering jewelry in the football department.... Definitely some in the BBall department..... I guess nicely saying, those might be inflated numbers... 

They make a place for the Code Red Nation to go, tell us to stay off their threads, yet they seem to follow.

​I would say our offensive line would be big even for 6A. I just looked on his HUDL account and Campbell is actually listed at 6-5/336lbs. Murphy is listed at 300lbs now and Oliver is listed at 308lbs. I think Bridgeman is listed at 6-4/275 which is very good size for a high school center on any level.
On the d-line I think the only know commodity is Nathan White who goes about 6-2/240lbs and was all-state last year. IDK who the other two d-linemen will be but I heard one of the kids we got from King has good size and has been solid thus far.

​How long in high school??

Crosby plays Angleton and Ned in the preseason last two years. Before that we had Ned and Willis for two years. Prior to that we had PNG, Dawson, and Montgomery of which the last two are now 6A. Prior to that we had Ennis and Atascosita on the schedule. You'll be hard pressed to find a stronger non-district schedule than that. I think Crosby is going to have some even bigger non-district games the next alignment though. 

It is actually adjacent to a neighborhood called Woodforest, grew up there.   Still the most useless conversation.

I'll just say this. It took Stew few years to get Dayton really going. If I remember right, Dayton only got out of the first round once their first five years under him.(?) Riordan hasn't lost a first round game yet and is averaging over 10 wins a season his first few years on the job, an average that should get even higher after this year. He's actually off to a better start than Stewart. I think there's a new crop of good young coaches around the state and Crosby just happens to have one of them. We'll see how long it last though.

You must really want Dayton to lose bad. Most people lose 6 hundy betting on their boys not on the failure of others . Oh well it's your money and SETX will be happy.

I actually think he was utilized too much. He played qb, rb, wr, c, and kr in the games I've seen. Maybe develop more playmakers so they don't go both ways so much. I hear you saying Dayton will run it, but how will you stop it?
