I don't know about the rocks and windshield incident, but I can vouch for one of the players from GCM last night.  My wife and I were talking to him and his parents after the game and well after the other players had left.  As far as the comment, I would hope that one of our players wouldn't say that.  I know that there were several questionable tweets leading up to the game, but still no reason to make the comment if it was indeed said. That being said, I, as a parent of a Lumberton player would like to apologize in the event it was said. I will certainly question my son.

I was at the game and heard it myself, and when did i ever mention a tweet? I don't reply much on this site, whereas you are correct, a lot of these posts are garbage, including your reply. The GCM boys drove to watch the game, because it has a direct impact on where and who, "The Goose" will be playing in the playoffs. To even remotely try to defend one action against another in this context, when your argument relies on what you read on Twitter, when I never once mentioned that, is a clear example of, you need to hit that, "review post" tab in the lower right hand corner before hitting "post"! I don't post wrecklessly or unfounded, you should try doing so as well Jock Strap!

It's pretty common for a group of players to travel to a game if they're off...especially if it impacts their playoff seeding. I see kids drive like idiots all the time. Peeling out and doing donuts. If it happened is it well thought out? No. Did they intentionally sling rocks on a windshield? I highly doubt it.

Not your normal monday in Patriot Country, with the game being played on Thursday and having a short practice week combined with the significance of this being a "playoff game", there's defintely a sense of urgency, and a confident vibe over here. Should have a good turnout for this one, not too many games in the area with this much at stake, being played Thursday, as well as CE King being 20 minutes from baytown, they will all be there to see who they might play next week. And Crosby, the Hill and dayton are all close as well so i expect to see them along with our fellow baytown schools RSS & REL! Should be an exciting game, but if we dont turn the ball over, it should be 52-30 GCM moves on to face King in the Bi-District round!

@Footballer06, although I do respect what seems to be a pretty decent knowledge of the game you posess, and your ability to fire up a thread, I do, however wonder which undefeated teams bandwagon you will try and hi-jack next if Crosby loses? If I recall correctly, when Baytown Sterling was 5-0 heading into the PA Mem game, you were annointing them as the 2nd coming of Al Dennis' teams of the 70's. And if Im not mistaken, I told you pump your breaks on that nonsense, and RSS, lost that game, and every game sense, and you weren't heard from again in that regard. I'm sure you will fire back with an amusing and somewhat intelligent retort from your "jungle lair" in Crosby ie your moms basement, so enhoy your hotpocket, and good luck to you and whatever teams jock you're riding this week!
