Are there going to be any scrimmages going on this weekend? If they are, who, where and when.

I'm not saying tell who it was in just saying let people that work there know that it has been a confirmed case that's what I mean.
I know what you're saying, as far as I'm concerned tell them

Having a vaccine for Covid is the thought behind it but there is no guarantee that we have an effective one by then.
they don't have a vaccine for the flu, too many different strains. They give you a shot in the dark and even then not everybody takes it.

I believe football for this year will be played in the spring. Just my thought.
What's going to be different then?

What good will delaying the season do? Do y'all think that the Covid-19 is going away? Do y'all think maybe they will have a vaccine? Nothing they do, will eradicate this disease. Not even vaccines are 100%, people will still get it. There is no guarantees with life.

if everybody waits until there is no chance of contracting this disease before carrying on with anything, then shut the world down and welcome back the 1930's. Then let's see how many people die.

What has been the toughest playoff path that your school has had? Also if you want to comment on another schools difficult playoff path that works too.
School: Newton
Year: 1974
Playoff opponents: Hamshire-Fannett, Columbus, Cameron Yoe, Leopards and Spearman
Reason why: went through the play offs without our All-State running back except for the Spearman game H-F 13 Newton 14 (trailed by 13 at half) H-F ranked #1 in the state, Columbus 0 Newton 33, Cameron Yoe 7 Newton 10 kicked a field goal with 16 seconds on the clock, we were trailing by penetrations. Leopards 7 Newton 17, Spearman 26 Newton 56, we lead at half 42-7 -

Y’all can just climb a tree across the road.
In my younger days, that might have been a viable option. but not today

After reading that article, I had a gut wrenching thought. What are the chances they try to have HS football with no fans in the stands? The thought never even occurred to me, but then again, neither did any of the other crazy stuff going on... I know, I know...it’s 4 months away. But this China virus frenzy has stopped the entire world economy. It wouldn’t be anything for “them” to pull the plug on fans in the stands. It literally makes me sick to think about it.

Newton vs Woodville
in High School Football

First game of a new year. How will it go? Is Newton reloaded and ready to go or will Woodville spoil the new year’s start. What say ye. I don’t know a lot about either team, but it’s Newton for the win.
