  1. In the playoffs I kept seeing Kirbyville signs at games and on cars/trucks going to the games that said: ATA! Don't know what that means though.
  2. They don't just give out State of Texas Superintendent of the Year Awards for nothing. You sound like a bitter whiney teacher who always complains about how things shouldn't be done but doesn't have the leadership skills to be in a position to do anything about it. As the kids say, "Don't be drinkin' Hater-ade over Dr. Burns." And why wouldn't he go? You expected Burns to stay at a 2A/3A school forever. Moving up the ladder of success. 4A won't be his last stop either. Mr. Hazlewood would do a great job by the way.
  3. Stephenville Yellowjackets I'm sure you've heard of us! ;D
  4. No, As long as the coach is a proven winner that can rally the kids and the community, uphold the traditions of PN-G, and teach the kids to become better young men, then I could care less where he is from. I agree 100% with akifan94. I think its important that a coach not only teach these young men to win games, but also, to help equip them with life skills to win in the "game of life". agreed.
  5. Whatever. You guys are so arrogant for some reason! It's not that hard to release names. 6. You see PNG. That wasn't so hard was it? Will there be a PNG - LCM battle for a head coach? People walk until the money talks!
  7. I would think the the quality of education, i.e. TAKS results, academic standing, etc. would be the driving force in deciding if I want to send my child to a particular school, not the attitude of fans or the record of a particular sports team. to each his own
  8. Like I said a month ago, it was December. What the heck does your hang up with the master's have to do with the board not wanting to release the list. Next time, just start your own thread if you need a "look at me" moment. the natives are getting restless. Not restless, just tired of hearing about the dang master's. While it frustrates me, I find it amusing that people that are not even PN-G fans or even live in the district feel the need to have such a passion about OUR coaching search. Their hatred / jealousy just oozes all over this board. Fact is, the next coach at PN-G is more likely than not going to have a master's degree due to PNGISD requiring it. All the bashing in the world is not going to change that. Like stated before, we are so, so really jealous of your stellar football record this new century! Heck, you guys couldn't even win a scrimmage this year against a 3A team (Jasper). Come on, it's pretty simple and you demonstrate it so well >>>> Arrogance gets riled up so easily. Some of us like stirring the pot because many of the ultra-proud arrogant PNGers allow their emotions to be controlled by outsiders. Thank you for giving us pot stirrers the power over your emotions. ;D We could really care less about your Purple Pride. PNG PURPLE PRIDE POWER
  9. Of course they didn't want to release names. They are PNG Proud!
  10. Apples and oranges comparison. Then why did they make MASTERS REQUIRED at PNG if it wasn't for their highest of standards? It is not a state law. You don't have to have a masters to be an AD. It does not make an AD better because they have a masters. I'm just having a little fun with the PNGers. They are easily taken aback when somebody suggests that they act and speak "holier than thou." But, the MAIN point is you are ruling out a bunch of GREAT COACHES/ADs by making it REQUIRED and that if you like it or not, is a FACT. If it's not REQUIRED than they should change the wording to PREFERRED. Well, thanks for being the guy who looks out for the master-less. You are a true hero. Man, just how many more coaching search injustices would take place if it was not for jackhammer and special ed. TOOL! Glad I could help. I'm a Tool? It takes one to know one. hahahaha!
  11. Dr. Burns is a strong supporter of athletics! Good move Vidor!

  13. PNG Standards are higher than that of Big XII school Kansas University! Mark Mangino, the HC of the Jayhawks, the 2007 Paul Bear Bryant Award Winner and the 2007 National Coach of the Year does not have a masters. Hope he didn't apply. His application would be filed away in the trash. Give up the bashing. Rehashing the crap already posted several times is not that funny or informative. Not bashing. Just informing those that may not know yet. It's very informative by the way, even if it is rehashing. You want it swept under the rug how stupid that requirement is, but some of us will not allow it. I'm just delivering the message 94! By the way, go clean yourself up 94... you look horrible. ;D VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV What are you not going to allow? PNGISD can set whatever requirements they like. Are you going to protest the hire? Have you voiced your opinion to the school board? Do you even live in PNGISD? If not, sthu and worry about your own dang community. Not worried about a thing. ;D I will not allow the issue to be swept under the rug on the forum. That's all I was talking about Tomahawk Chop Lover. I am sure there will be others who have and will voice their opinion about the ridiculous requirement of MUST HAVE A MASTERS because we are PNG Proud and Proper which means there are only a SELECT few who have the educational background to work at such a prestigious place as PNG.

  16. I heard an ex-Palestine name surface and I'm not talking about Cornell. You know anything Coop?
  17. I know of one poster on this page who's coach applied. Good coach but probably won't get the job. What are the school colors? I'll give you a couple: one is Blue and Gold (no masters), another is Red and Black(not sure if this one has a masters). You know who they are , and this isn't the only job that either one applied for. So much for "no leaks out of PNG."
  18. Heck, you guys will probably win a string of playoff games with a list that big. That would be a nice change for the fans.

  21. The only things soccer is good for is a great sport for little kids and every once in a while it will produce a great (American) football kicker. JMO
  22. LeFredrick Ford - Kirbyville Wildcats Don't blink. He'll be gone!
