Isn't it verbatim? What's the difference between saying 6-7 yards and being successful? That is successful. This is a public forum. People from all teams read and post on all kinds of topics. If you don't want Nederland people confronting you when you say stuff like ''no way'', then maybe you should just post on the PNG board.

tap, I have absolutely no reading or comprehension problems. That was uncalled for. You say your LBs stand there waiting for the ball carier and then don't tackle. Any self-respecting coach would have yanked them right there on the spot, let alone have it carry over into more than one game. If my LBs aren't hitting the holes and covering their gaps, then they will be on the sidelines until they can learn how to do it right. I still say we (NED) blocked well all night, especially on the wildcat.

I think you simply played two teams with very good offensive lines. I don't think we snapped the ball and all the PNG players fell down, they were blocked. There are techniques to fend off blocks. PNG coaches will adjust.

Lots of state championship, NCAA championship, and NFL championship games have been won with similar games as the one Nederland just won. I guess you'll always be ''Mr. Potter".

To PNG: Hats off to your team for never giving up. Some teams would have laid down being down that much so late. You have an excellent offense that can really score quickly and eat up some yards. To my Bulldogs: Great game all around guys. Some great individual stats on offense. You know who you are, but I give the credit to the offensive line, giving great protection to Forney, and fantastic run blocking all night. You were the key to this huge win. Defense, you played very hard hitting football all night. I commend you for your effort. PNG will put some yards on anyone, so you did a great job of containing.....bending not breaking. To smitty......kiss a fat baby's arse.
