Why do we always abandon the wild dog? No one has stopped that yet. -

Crosby Nederland Stream or Radio

I am feeling under the weather tonight and did not make the trip. I will be receiving texts after a score and will update. I know it's not the same as listening live, but I don't believe there is a broadcast. Best I can do. Phatmack usually has someone at the game and he updates very well. -
Best parking for any stadium around. Very nice. I have been there twice and it is an awesome facility. Now, change the name. ;D Oh yeah, open up your concession a little earlier. I don't eat supper when I go to a game, so I arrive hungry and spend lots of money. Thanks.

To Nederland fans going to Crosby tomorrow

Last one to leave Nederland turns out the lights. A stadium that size sells SRO the first day. -

As I entered the camp they were all running around cold and naked... I laughed because my fur kept me so warm. I figured I would take a bite of one of them because I was a tad bit hungry. OH MY GOD, why did I pick that fight??? Needless to say that was my last bite; they had Jaguar ribs for dinner and a fresh new spotted blanket to keep them warm... And those pretty brand new Jaguar teeth necklace!!! The last thing I saw was more of my pack falling to their ravage. The ones that got away were chasing crow because that is all that was left to eat!!! All Hail the mighty Indians!! What a scouting report by your coaching staff, not only did you guys whip us but it also seemed like you could over hear every play being called! Great game, great game plan, great kids, and great fans!!! I would like Creole crow pasta with pickled crow’s feet! Thank you!
Niiiiiice!!! That game wasn't all that lopsid... Well maybe it was. ;D ;D ;D But seriously, It is my hope that the Jags can use last fridays experience to their advantage and be that much more prepared for each and every game they will play in the post season! (I think they will) I am also hopeful the Tribe won't let that affect our approach to any games we will play. That game looked very similar to our Nederland game where one team looked to be a bit flat and one team looked to have fire in their eyes. Both really good teams, just at different points mentally. I almost feel bad for the team that will have to face the Jags this weekend as I know those kids will want to make a statement! Everyone on the Reservation wishes the best to the great and awe inspiring Central Jaguars!!! GO 20-4A!!!
Good post, but a PNG fan with Dogs in his screen name is confusing. Oh well. ;D
It comes from the joke about how Indians name their children. ;)
I fully understand Two-Dogs..... ;D

You like that? I'm full of sarcasm. Some people say full of something else, but what do they know? ;D

Is it bigger than LCM's? ;D The UIL should have some type of ruling about seating on the visitor's side. 4a seating should have a minimum. Our Bulldog stadium, you can have reserve seating on the visitors side and the stands are the same size as the home side. Teams should want visitors to be comfortable. Nederland fans really buy concessions, programs, and split the pots.

Nederland’s Forney has fracture in hand
baddog replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Our run game can bail out any QB. Dionte only threw 9 times against LCM. He did have some huge runs though, especially getting 1st downs. I think the Dogs will be OK. Injuries are part of football and we just have to line up, like dawgnut said. The wild dog for a change of pace? Sonnier can QB so I don't see why he can't run the same basic run plays pass the ball, and then throw in a wild dog. The defense really wouldn't know what to expect. I have no problem with who they put in there. -
Nederland stepped up and took care of business and earned their place in the playoffs. LCM had their shot and failed to step up even through their injury problems. Nederland played very well and as usual rebounded from their own adversities this year. I find it funny though that Nederland of all teams (posters) can not relate with a QB injury. ;) Now, LCM has lost to Central, PNG and Nederland and I have kept up with posts of each loss and its easy to say that Nederland posters have been the least gracious in their victory. :'( Regardless, I hope you go deep in the playoffs and you deserve to be there.
Well, I don't know who made you the sole judge of what is gracious or not. I simply told the truth without any sarcasm. Nederland's QB woes had ours out for the season or several games. When you get down to your fourth string QB and are able to still make the playoffs without your starter, then I can relate. Any QB anywhere, who can throw for 300 yards, is not hurt IMO. Even if he ran for his 60+ yard average, I'd spot you another TD and you still don't win. LCM fans also said that we didn't see their best game. If a team hasn't been in the playoffs for 13 years and it comes down to playing for your playoff lives and you can't play your ''best game'', then you don't deserve to go. I will be more gracious when I see some posts that give Nederland more credit for the win than trying to get sympathy for their injuries. We play through our injuries. We stopped you run game without our starting LB, who will be back next week. It's called depth, and some teams have it. We have coaches who can coach a sub to play at starting level.

From what I have read, LCM did all of this to themselves. I was at the game and Nederland played lights out on defense against the run (14-19). There were at least 3 dropped INTs that could have made the score even worse. Also could have had a couple intentional groundings that weren't called that could have stalled drives and forced punts. Gonzales was 29-47-1 for 300 yds.......not bad for an injured QB, so let's not go there. Nederland outplayed LCM on both sides of the ball, almost mistake free, and kept it going in the 2nd half. LCM needs to look at their district schedule and see who their wins were against and who gave them their losses. Their lone win against a playoff team was Livingston. Tried hard to keep this ''classy'' while still telling the truth. Nederland has played with their backs against the wall for three weeks now since the Central loss, and they weren't going to be denied. Go Dogs!! and 20-4A
