No problem with that statement. Same rebel spirit that carried over to the south.....hence the "Rebel" flag. Since blacks seem to think this flag represents slavery of the south, what flag represented the slavery of the north? Oh yeah. There were slaves in the north. I don't know what makes people gay. I thought they were born that way being deprived of some gene. I have heard most can tell you they felt the attraction way before puberty. This by no means makes me an expert, just going on what I have heard and read. One has to admit that some of the gays appear to be missing something.....have a certain look about them. I have a hard time thinking that a heterosexual man just out of the clear blue, ups and decides to start dating men.

I don't believe his apology. It is too easy to say the right things afterwards, trying to get public support and a sympathy vote. If he truly honored the flag and the soldiers who have died protecting her, he would have never stepped on her just to make a point.
