That last sentence speaks volumes. This has been going on longer than 40 years. It goes back to the McCarthy era, but that is a long story. Lots of people thought him to be a maniac. Turns out he was right. The communists (and everybody else) figured out that we (TRUE Americans) can't be defeated militarily or with nukes (mutually assured destruction), so we must be defeated internally. It is working to some degree. We have to fight back.
