Brainwashed? The way the people in office back then voted on the war issues was important back then. This is current, and being wishy-washy on sensitive issues doesn't sit right with people.

Why doesn't it matter how she voted? Just because you say so? Talk about a war without a goal.....try Vietnam....started by Dems, dragged out and escalated by Dems. My feelings never got hurt over this. I knew I wasn't going to be valedictorian. Heck, I wasn't even trying. Things that have been done for ages are just now bothering people. LRF got it right. We are raising a nation of wusses and momma's boys.

Your body needs certain amounts of fat. The problems arise when individual's bodies don't process it well, especially if you are already obese. Everything not used by the body is converted to fat. At least that's how I learned it. It may have changed with the new regime.

Hate to say it but that's another King novel.

I'm not what you would call well read, but I do like me some Stephen King. Sometimes I can read a page then wonder what I just read. Very frustrating. Have read quite a few of his books though.

You've read quite a lot if you have read everything King has written. I have not. I have Revival sitting on my table right now. One thing about King, if you start to read, chances are you won't put it down. Second one I liked after Insomnia was Desperation.

I like Stephen King. Many don't know Shawshank was written by King. I've read more of his books than any other. I read The Green Mile before the movie came out. Bruce Willis saw Michael Clark Duncan acting somewhere and knew they were casting for the Green Mile. He called the casting director and said, "I got your John Coffey". Everything else was the way I pictured it in my mind, from the green mile to "old sparky". The characters fit to a tee also. King is a master storyteller. Makes you a fly on the wall. Try reading "Insomnia". It's long but well worth the read. Back on topic, another movie I always seem to watch is The Book of Eli, which I saw today.
